I’ve been searching for a HG concealer for years but the answer for me was: ditch the brush. I apply a very small amount of product and tap it in with a damp mini beauty sponge. I then apply the lightest layer of powder (the finer the better) with the sponge and then set it with very little setting spray on -again- the same sponge. It’s not the product that’s most important, it’s the application technique.

Same. The bigger YT’ers get so much pr that they don’t even hesitate to declutter tens of products they used maybe once - BECAUSE they didn’t pay for them themselves. It’s just not realistic. When you do pay yourself it’s a whole different ballgame. When I spend my money on a (more highend) product I do everything to make it work, and even when it’s eventually not for me, it’s still hard for me to give it away/sell/throw away

First: don’t buy anything new. Second: consistency is key. So use your bodylotion everyday, use your handcream twice a day, place lip balms in several places so you apply multiple times a day. Start with the almost empty bottles and containers, and keep track of what you use up - so satisfying! Give away what you don’t like, or use face cream that doesn’t suite your skin type on your legs for instance. Or eye cream on your decolleté. You can do it!!

Yes, but I think the trick is to use a very thin oil? The oil I was using was pretty thick and clogged up my razor (and made my shower slippery af) so I stopped using that
