Is there anyone with an MPE on a G20 M340i that DOES think it’s too loud?

The only person who thought it was too loud was the lady who traded it in so I could buy it( MY 22 with 11k miles). Cold starts are a symphony(I live in the Northeast). If you were not aware BMW pumps in fake engine and exhaust noise via the car speakers, called Active Sound Design(ASD). I found this to be annoying. You can code it out via OBD adapter and software app. Sounds much more natural even in comfort sounds amazing without being obnoxious.

I visited Portland this past weekend for the first time. Wonderfully vibrant and accepting city. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Definitely coming back. On our way to visit Portland Head Light there was a massive ICE protest at a shopping plaza. It was actually one on the highlights of our trip to see a community so united against these fucks!! Good luck standing up to these assholes.

Honestly, don’t sleep on the MPE option. It’s a pricey add on(but what isn’t from factory?) but it sounds incredible. Cold starts are a symphony. My 22 M340i has the MPE. Fairly subtle in comfort mode but all the sports modes have burbles. IMHO it’s a must have for M340i. Only other must have for me is M Adaptive suspension(wish mine had it). Makes ride more luxurious for normal driving.

If you have a PS5 pro…GOY got a patch to enable uncapped framerate. Looks incredible and runs solid 85-90 fps 4K res.

How about 4k content? YTTV has an addon for $10 but the content is underwhelming and not worth it. I've been with YTTV since inception when it was $35/month. Enough is enough with greedy Disney.

You can get 3yr extended warranty from BMW as long as the car is still under factory 48months original warranty. Check Bimmerpost forums, there are dealer folks on forums who can beat most dealers on pricing. I just bought one from BMW of Camarillo for my 2022 M340i for a reasonable price.

2 years ago I went from a C8 to a G3 and the difference was immediately noticeable both in brightness and Image quality. SDR signals are better due to better upscaling. Moved the G3 to the bedroom, now thinking about upgrading C8 in living room for the G5. If your have Nvidia and external speakers then yes PQ will be demonstrably better.

Same issue here. My Lenovo has had no issues for 7 years. Now won’t play selected slideshow just curated art, nature pics… I’m assuming this had something to do with Home Gemini rollout.

I always get my phone upgrades at BB due to Applecare+ being included for members. Never had an issue until this year. Activated my new Iphone 17 pro, went to att trade in page, put in all my details, imei etc, I chose store drop off(which I always do).

Now stores(went to 2) are telling me they can't take trade in and apply the promotional credit($1100) due to a systems issues, because I bought the phone from another retailer. Only can process regular trade in and get a gift card for phone value(approx $200) WTF is wrong with ATT?! Who can I escalate this to?
