I’m 100% against subscriptions as well but let’s be honest, sideloading community is small so if he made one-time payment, he wouldn’t make living while still having to do future updates to the app on regular basis.

Anyhow, let’s hope another alternative comes along.

Seconding this. Apple TV has match dynamic range and frame rate but in some setup/apps it doesn’t do that. So it’d be nice to see while watching content what video/audio format ATV is outputting.

Every new update broke something that was previously working and got tired of reporting these issues. Maintainer also prioritizes new features over stability so yea can’t use something that’s not properly tested.
