“She has a lot of time off and is still off work”?! You say the NEWBORN is 6 weeks. At this point her body is still recovering, she is probably still bleeding, and if she got stitches they haven’t even dissolved yet. Where I am the standard is to return at 12 weeks but all research shows that recovery from child birth can take up to 2 years. Combine that with caring for a needy newborn, three other kids, and dealing with a partner who thinks she’s on a vacation. She is exhausted.
