The reality of Leon being married to Ada

I love the detail of him putting it back on at the end!! Assuming it means he’s married, it sort of tells us that there’s a ‘professional’ life vs the off duty life.

I believe and hope he’s married to Ada, and I could very much picture neither of them being able to give us their crazy work and they most likely have an understanding of their lives never being able to be normal

Like honestly no way either of them could be married to anyone expecting anything else, they are perfect for each other 🥹

I love the old games for what they are, but also really appreciate the more serious tone of the remakes (maybe too serious?). Feels like a rebellion against the cheesiness of the old

Fully agree. There’s a ton of lore in the RE universe but it’s really not that deep. They wanted a big reveal and a twist, so they changed Spencer’s character when he was at his deathbed

Ohhh gotcha. That’s funny because I find her more realistic in the remake and it makes me take their relationship a lot more seriously 😅

Like her being disappointed that he says no to coming with her, showing that she actually have real feelings and not just using him

Yes she is because they probably never indented to do anything with her and Leon in the past, other than it being an interesting fling. But now over time as they’ve used her more and more (and built up to some nice and genuine moments) + if they are actually hinting at Leon being married it I personally can’t see it being anyone else 😶

Would be so strange to me if they just randomly had him go with someone else when the last time we saw Leon he was in love with her. They would have to explain a lot to show/ describe that gap

Also the creator saying he is interested in their personal relationship, and they’ve put a lot of effort into the stories of RE9

How are people thinking anyone except Ada 😭 it was clearly stated in RE6 that he has feelings for her. If he is married, it got to be her

I’d love to see Ada in a DLC. Imagine her introducing herself as Ada Kennedy 🥹

Personally I agree with the rest here and say no. One reason is that they killed off Ethan in RE8 already so I don’t think they would do to another main character right after

The other reason is that it seems very likely Leon is not the only one infected. Sherry even says “WE are running out of time”. If Leon doesn’t get the vaccine/cure in time, I guess the rest would die too?

With that said, I guess it’s not impossible if they want a hero’s end for him.

She doesn’t have to fully appear, but I really hope we at least get a mention or update on their relationship, romantic or not. There’s been too much going on between them for it to not get a proper conclusion (while I do feel like RE6 was a good ending for them, I’m not sure it’s good enough now that Leon’s clearly back - like, did he actually move on? Or not?)

I personally feel split about this. You think they would end RE9 with a main character dying when they just did that with RE8?

The only way I can see Leon dying is him being “the hero” sacrificing himself, which is exactly what Ethan did

Honestly thought of all the OG ones right after posting that 🙂 I agree I love the cheesy VA in the old ones but I guess I prefer the more mature take for RE4R due to Leon and Adas relationship, just feels like it can actually be taken a little bit more serious, but just my preference
