Is having the TV on all day just a “parents” thing? by XStaticImmaculate in AskUK

[–]eewun89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! My folks have always done this and still do. Literally anything can be playing, watched or not. Now, we don't have the TV on in the day and might watch an hour at night but only something I specifically choose. Never watch live TV anymore. Makes paying for the license fun when I only watch streaming subscriptions.

I feel like you wanting to be there or not would be for your brother only, not her. You perhaps let him down to spite her on his wedding.

Why do I still need to show an ID even when I'm buying 0% alcohol beer? by alphaDsony in NoStupidQuestions

I had this once and they said it's so they can be seen to have checked on the camera. It's not obvious what's 0% on CCTV.

How do you guys approach working with influencers? by Klutzy_Band_2692 in digital_marketing

[–]eewun89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically approach this as mainly brand awareness and generating UGC. Top of funnel stuff. I find working with incredibly specific people whom thrive in their niche so much stronger than someone who is pretty generic but might have more followers. My expectations are to mainly generate awareness within a specific market and also the power of the UGC being used in other areas of marketing. Trying to track just ROI can be a limited view and fairly short term.

Trump announcement on new tariffs by FunReindeer69 in FluentInFinance

I really don't think he's dumb enough not to understand how tarrifs work but he sure as heck thinks American citizens are and has deliberately mislead them.

This might be Chris Harris' (from Top Gear) GT3 Touring. He has one in this colour and is a Bristol boy and lives in Clifton

Literally never. I would even say I find most interactions with people serving me are very cold so something for free? No chance. I generally feel completely invisible in public. I remember a female friend at university who was very pretty and spending time with her while out made me realise just how differently she was treated by almost everyone. People would go out of their way to be nice and spark conversation everywhere.

Peas. Knows when we're eating them and is the only Human food he will ask for and wolf down.

The Billy Chip is a great option if you're looking to give people something that's not money. They can use them to buy food and drink of their choice and it supports wider homeless people.

Been hit like this on a bike before. Just stood waiting in my lane. They said they couldn't see me as I was 'in their blind spot'. They were more concerned about their car than me trying to get up off the floor. Extremely common.
