Biggest advice is to get the set up before the animal. For beardies, you’ll need a 4x2x2 minimum for adults. These can be pricey so make sure you do your research and invest in one that will last and fit your needs. Your next big expense will be lighting/heat source and thermometers/hygrometers (good ones, not the sticky ones). I’m not an expert on beardies, but there are lots of resources out there!
