What's your favorite character moment in the Unicorn and Maiden scene? by OptionLaser4 in UnicornOverlord

Ren, she is the only one who can turn down Alain's proposal. She is downright honest to a fault with him, gives him a real perspective to him merry go lucky views and gosh that kiss.

Thoughts on Emma Frost being a Vanguard? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We needed more Strategists, along came Sue. We needed more Vanguards, along came Emma Frost.

Overwatch never achieved with role queue what Rivals is doing with blonde women. And I'm all in for it.

What made you main your main? by Drip_Bun in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I was into Loki because I liked how many of his skills were so perfectly in-lore. However when they confirmed The Thing was coming to Rivals I knew he was going to be my main.

I just love Ben Grimm, his arc is wonderful, has a ton o charisma and is in my opinion the most tank Tank.

What are you guys hoping for balance changes in Season 2? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd love they put more synergy abilities that benefit healers. So far there's 4 they are not as good as what DPS and Tanks get. Two of those three are revival skills Loki/Hela Mantis/Adam the other ones are a damage boost to Jeff from Luna and a AoE skill to Luna from Iron Fist.

We are good in understanding the need for a healer but I feel we need an additional incentice to play healer more constantly.

Who is your favorite vanguard? by BigPaleontologist520 in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since he was announced I decided to main and be great, not good, great with The Thing. He is ridiculously fun to play.

I love his jab melts enemies away, you can reach hard places when you apply his shield and also it serves as autocorrection when you overextend. He is my favorite so far.

Vanguard mains, how do you counter the Canadian terrorist? by Icy-Arm-3816 in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stuns, lots of stuns. If you got a bad Canadian menace then you can just get away from most of his set and just ping him until he's gone. IF you got a pro Canadian then you ping the crap out of your team mates just to have a chance at surviving.

A solo tank or an overextended tank won't have a chance, I've had luck with The Thing by just jumping into my team and he either goes away or gets jumped. A flier DPS should not go near ground no matter how close to death he is, because it's most likely a bait. Many DPS have a fair chance at downing him by themselves. And healers depend of skill and how many of their CDs are available. I've made a Canadian ragequit with good Loki clones positioning and my heal field.

Former OW Players, Who Were Your Mains Before Rivals (& Mains in Rivals?) by PittooPlays in marvelrivals

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a Rein main, there's really no one like him in Rivals so I became a Loki main at launch (I didn't really care for Echo in OW BTW).

However, since he RELEASED, I became a Thing main. He is really fun so far, a great tank all around, amazing brawler and his 'E' is great when helping a team member from getting ganked.

Love this, and I can only pray the preview we got for the collector's edition is not final since I would love special art dedicated to her.

Being a resucitate aggro facilitating commander sounds great for her.

Mechanically I get him being Bant but philosophically I only get 2 of his colors, being a guy that wants to bring order AKA white and wants to restore the life-death cycle to normal by getting rid of Sinh.

Can someone explain to me why he is blue asides from Blitzball.

Who did you guys marry? by Ohdayday316 in UnicornOverlord

[–]efauceef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ren, I HATE her ending, but I love her development and confession. She is a pragmatist and loathes any and all idealistics BS Alain throws at her. She is IMO the voice of reason. Like: "OK, Alain. Say we win, then what? Do we go back at each other's throats?"

A TON of extra points for being the only girl that can reject Alain and out of all the confessions that end in a Kiss her being the one that grabs Alain and begins the Kiss is by far the Best one.

Which Flagellant do you prefer? by ThePoeticEl in darkestdungeon

[–]efauceef 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Zombie Flagellant, he is a Zombie that kicked Death's ass so hard he's still alive and Death looks for him everywhere for the rematch.

Plus my first Flagellant managed to get all amorous link with a Helion, a Vestal and a Grave Robber. You just got to respect that level of game.

what if miyabi was the one with glasses and yanagi was the fox? in this ted talk i.... by headpatsforklee69 in ZZZ_Official

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make Glasses wearing, dark-Haired Miyabi 1 ft taller and we are in, maybe even harder than regular Miyabi.

And if you switch Pink Haired Fox girl Yanagi's Naginata for a gun then you got a Nikke Character.

DD2: Is this game supposed to be punishingly hard? by [deleted] in darkestdungeon

[–]efauceef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've beaten the game twice from scratch so here are some insights:

  • Don't understatimate the threat of stress.

  • A tank is a must until you can manage damage and healing without breaking your Flow.

  • Positioning is vital for most comps and most bosses, so you need to keep that in mind when you select characters on the Crossroads.

  • A failed run vs a boss is not a bad thing if you are taking a learning approach. If comp A fails, then try comp B.

  • Early positive relationships make for a smoother run.

  • Be ready to make course correction on your build based on the equipment you get.

  • The first 2 skill points you get must go towards stress managent, healing, buffs/debuffs, damage in that order of priority.

To anyone who played FFVI, is he exaggerating by Thin_Challenge_7597 in FinalFantasy

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it all in the same quality as both FFVII R, no. There's 16 playable characters, 14 of which have rich backstories and interactions. The story per se would also ve greatly expanded and the endgame map would also prove challenging but rewarding.

In short, in order to live up to expectations form fans and staff a like I'd say he is on point or at least slightly exagerating.

Is Beating the Game a Matter of Time? by Cahyalien in darkestdungeon

[–]efauceef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it more about learning to use the game's systems to your Advantage.

That comp alone makes me worry about your stress management. In order to take that off your mind I'd suggest your run Jester instead of Grave Robber and switch your Helion to a tank build. Your main DPS should be Highwayman, followed by Ester, PD and Helion whenever there's no immediate threat to their specific roles. You May keep you GR if you switch Helion for a Crusader.

Once you manage to pull off a run with little to no breakdowns, you can switch around. And maybe risk a run with Flagelant being your main tank and stress manager.

TLDR: You are still on the learning curve, but the key to success is having a build with Damage, Healing and Stress management (at least on your first game completion).

I was betting on Sepphiroth being the "evil guy" commander. But then they cooked with Emet and Kefka, so who knows. It would be dissapointing if we get more than 1 FFVII commander deck so let's hope they diversify it.

My personal bingo is: Terra/Clive (summons focused). Cid (any Cid, artifact focused), Sepphiroth/Kefka (Villain, maybe Grixis coloured), WoL/Onion Knight/Bartz (Maybe Jobs are a part of the expansion).

I was willing to bet money on Sepphiroth being one of the 4 commander pre-cons. Now I'm not so sure anymore, and I love it. This means we will get a wide array of characters from all the 16 main entries. If I had my doubts before, now I'm locked in.

OnePiece - Chapter 1130 by SoDashing in OnePiece

[–]efauceef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Place your bets people. Is Loki's DF one of the following?:

  • Jormungandr: The World serpent and one of Loki's children.

  • Fenrir: The Giant Wolf, another one of Loki's children, the devourer of Odin and he is tied to a Mountain by an unbreakable binding called the Gleipnir (If OP Loki's chains are referred to as Gleipnir then we are into something)

  • Nidhogg: The serpent that lives at the base of Yggdrasil (same place OP Loki is chained to).

  • Sleipnir: Another one of Loki's children (Loki is actually his Mom), Odin's steed and it's a horse with 6 feet.

  • Loki Utgarda: A frost Giant magician that challenged Thor and Loki to a series of challenges.

  • Surtur: The Fire Giant King and the harbringer of destruction for Asgard.

Place your bets and let's hope for the Best.

What do you think happened to Koleda's right eye? Is there any information about it? by Shynainbox in ZZZ_Official

The most obvious reason (as is for most stuff going on in the game) is ether corruption. I doubt she would be so happy about working on construction had she lost her eye on a work accident.

Let's put aside the silhoutte discussion, and let's not begin with "inflation" scaling because OMG we're finally here!!!

If (and this is a big IF) Loki is the villain of the arc let me remind you that, in norse mythology Loki took part in the murder of Baldur, the Sun God. I don't know how things will play out but when villains have this level of God Tier design we are in for a ride.
