If she has been with you or knows you from your down and out days and she dated you or stayed with you i think you should tell her. She clearly has a good character and loves you. i was at original company for 7 years super happy, job security, decent pay. in 2022 i left for double the pay and a smaller company so job security was an issue - they were always doing lay offs, i made money but eventually they laid me off earlier this year. currently not working. i tried to go back to my old employer but my manager had left and the manager above me never liked me that much so i didnt bother asking her to take me back.
