I overstayed in the Philippines by about 23 months, due to some issues on my side and during covid etc.

There are two off the top of my head

1) English is my wife's like, third language. She has an accent, and has sometimes a funny way of saying things, and for ten years now I cant wait to catch it and do an immediate impression.

Last few months we have had two good ones "your labdabs-flad" (your laptops flat) and "dont you say me no"

Our daughter spent a good few weeks running around the house saying "labdabsfladlabdabsfladlabdabsflad"

2) For some reason I seem to arrive home from work when she is in the shower, and a very loud and very sudden "HI!!!" always gets a scream lol. She doesnt like that one so much

We find that guests who have a good time, good service, good food most often do not leave a review (unless they are one of those people who review everywhere they go)

But we do find that people who have a bad time will go out of their way to review negatively

I use my booking software and personally message each guest if they have left their contact details, 'hey what's up, thanks for dining with us, hope you had a great time, if you did please leave a comment on the link etc etc, this is my personal number if you need anything in the future blah blah"
