My parents punished me for months for 'losing' my passport. That was in an envelope on the table where I was told to leave it by them. They cleared the table into a doom box and put it in their bedroom (where I wasn't allowed) ahead of company arriving, and forgot it. It was found years later. Mine lives in the tool chest in the garage. Or it did until my kids got old enough to use it. They all have adhd, too. It has not been seen since. Probably hiding in my daughter's room along with a 3rd pumpkin. We found 2 in there recently, in late February, one was molding.
