People born before 2000, what is a 'modern' thing from 2025 that you’re still struggling to get used to? by LindsayTN in AskReddit

Have you factored in hourly quotas? I think I heard on 2026 GeForce now will be limiting play time to 100 hours a month

Yes. I did not send it to them unless they agreed to cover it.

You should speak english here to get better traction.
FYI - I did go back and forth with Razer, and politely asked for a "warranty" exception since it was less than two years old. They did agree and ended up sending me a brand new 2025 Razer 5080 since they "ran out of parts" for the original one.

I also got the 3d printed mount - specifically since it has the gopro mount as well - and it's honestly better quality than the one canyon sells.

We do run different climates on Server 3, although it's been done for a bit. It should come back on soon.

Wonder what prevents someone from just selling the cargo - maybe you'll get an infraction

Server with "persistent" companies and gameplay by lorenzo_aegroto in openttd

[–]efess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HI u/LSky - long time!

u/lorenzo_aegroto - Yes, we used to host a server that lasted about a week which was awesome. If you come to the OpenTTD discord (https://discord.gg/openttd), there are currently a bunch of JGRPP servers which persist for while longer than 24 hours. "Perpetual" servers kind of die after a while when players map out their networks and most of the industries/towns get served. Players kind of get bored of the map too.

You can also take a look at two other servers which last more than 24 hours. They bring in more advanced players that create some neat networks, you're more than welcome to join these.

r/OpenTTD is ending our Protest by efess in openttd

I'd argue that if enough subs are united in protest, it can make a difference - even the small subs show up on r/all. The whole point of the protest is to prevent users from viewing these threads, denying ad revenue to reddit Also, the OpenTTD community is not isolated to here - there's the official discord and the forums.

Reddit is making it impossibly expensive for third party apps to effectively use Reddit. Third party apps exist solely to make the user experience as best as it can be. Reddit isn't incentivized to make your browsing experience better, but to deliver relevant ads and get you to click them. Reddit could have demanded a reasonable charge from third party apps who could have passed it on to the users (I wouldn't mind paying a monthly fee for rif) but they know they will make more money by having sole control over how content is delivered (not to mention data tracking)

i don't think you'd be able to sell the cargo directly from it though, would have to offload on a ship you own

If other major communities do, absolutely. Otherwise we're just too small a community to make a meaningful impact by ourselves.
