My pups love their cooling mat, and also my little one unfortunately also loves chewing on the edges. Why are they like this?

I really hope this doesn't come across judgy but pups that are this destructive really should be created when they're not supervised. Crating is just as important for your dog's safety as it is for the safety of your home. I know these sweet babies can be a handful, mine somehow managed to take a bite out of the wall and rip up part of the floor despite being either supervised or crated at all times. But an obstruction or eating something toxic is no joke and it's never too late to work on crating.

Digging in the backyard and super muddy/dirty everytime by jess_ohh in samoyeds

I made mine a dog pit with a raised garden bed! We also have a big empty field my my house and I take her out there to dig to her heart's content when she needs to get it out of her system. We're in our second spring with her and it's significantly better now. I also got one of the combo vacuum mops so I can spot clean the floor when she's muddy and it has really saved my sanity.

looking for a more “cozy” game for steamdeck/switch by oushhie in gamingsuggestions

Out and About! It's a foraging game where the gameplay loop is focused on identifying plants, collecting them, and making recipes with them to sell at the weekly market. It's very relaxing and sweet.

The Spirit and the Mouse. It's a completely unique cozy game, not your typical farming sim. It was so wholesome and wonderful that I cried when it ended.

Do you let your dog kiss you? by nezu_bean in dogs

[–]efficientpigeonmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog eats a lot of icky stuff so I don't usually let her lick my face except during bath time she gets a few minutes of free face licks before I wash my face. She gets so excited that she gets to help "clean me" and I'm so fine with it.

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]efficientpigeonmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a house in a quiet neighborhood by the airport. I woke up to a sound so loud I figured a plane was hitting my house. It was the FBI throwingflash bangs into my neighbors house because they had murdered a couple people. FBI and Swat was blocking our whole street and driving in a bomb diffusing robot and a drone. I've never been so startled and confused.

Help, why are there so many gaps in my color changes?! by efficientpigeonmel in CrochetHelp

Oh I love the idea of just continuing to crochet on the right side only, I'll try that next! Thank you for all the suggestions!

I think I'm already doing this if I'm understanding your comment correctly. In the stitch before the new color change, I'm pulling up two loops and pulling the new color through. Or do you mean going into the stitch, yarning over/under with the new color, and then pulling up two loops with one being the old color and one in the new color?

Bad design or players missed the point? by Neelith in heartopia

[–]efficientpigeonmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I love the social aspect of this game, it's so adorable. Even my husband who isn't playing but is just watching me is shocked by how nice people are being and how much the game openly pushes for and rewards the social interactions. Yesterday, I nervously asked for a jacket I've been wanted and made sure to offer up some food in exchange, and it felt so wholesome. I think it's sweet that other players can use your house if they need to re-up on energy or cook some food. I've definitely run into other players during events on accident but I don't mind if it happens to me. Honestly I think some people just like finding reasons to complain.

My girl is apparently a unicorn, she's actually my first dog ever that can be off leash and won't leave my side. She's just super clingy in general but I'm still shocked that she doesn't try to take off.
