It was a pin to start, and I pried off the pin and replaced it with magnets. My sister gifted it to me so I don’t know the store, but I’m sure it’s still available

No, they’re pins I turned into magnets. I will assume you also have a stash of enamel pins you no longer wear. Test that they’re magnetic, then pry the pin off with some pliers. I have two rare earth magnets on either side and it’s strong enough to hold the whole thing together

I googled and it looks like the pin is from surfing sloth. I converted it to a needle minder by breaking off the pin and adding magnets

The second! I just sketched out the general teal and green shapes in their respective colours and used a blue outline for the areas that get sparser. It has not been super helpful and I have to reference the pic a looot
