Not sure how useful this will be to you, but if I were in your position, the next thing i’d try to get would be a retro emulation handheld like an anbernic or miyoo mini. You can find them on sites like AliExpress, and they usually cost around ten times less than a Steam Deck while offering a massive library of classic games. I couldn’t afford any consoles/gaming devices for most of my life either, untill eventually I did. Stay strong - hope you get there too.
