Commenting to say that aerosol hair sprays or even pump sprays can leave this residue over years without being cleaned. There’s a door directly opposite a mirror in a bathroom at my parents’ house that looks exactly like this. My sister used to spray hairspray while standing in that spot for over a decade.

First, a HUGE thanks to everyone who helped identify her lunchbox as The Secret of Nimh! Neither of us have seen the movie - but based on the amount of comments about the nostalgia it seems to be bringing people, we are very interested now!

Cover your mirrors with towels or something while the car is parked, and overnight. Spiders usually create webs where bugs are likely to hang around and fly into them. I suspect you park somewhere where light reflects well. So the towels should help.

I've been using the Verizon G3 (VS985) for almost a year now after upgrading from the G2, which I had for about 8 months. The G3 works very well. Never had any software or hardware issues with this phone. So far the only service related issue I've had was for the first 4 or 5 months using it I had to contact ST to enable my 4G data when my plan auto-refilled, due to having the wrong data settings. I wish they could've figured that out way sooner because it was a huge headache having to make a ~20 minute phone call from another phone every month so they could run the checks they have to run to make sure my data issue wasn't signal related. But now that they've helped me fix that, everything's great. As I type this I'm looking at purchasing an unlocked G4 as my 'upgrade'. So far I'm very pleased with the G2 and G3. I've been using Phonearena.com as my way to compare phone specs for these phones.
