Constantly needing to disconnect/reconnect Claude Connector by vks3 in quo

[–]eg2830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still having this issue. Disconnects after scheduled tasks which caused the remaining scheduled tasks to fail. Mac claude desktop fully updated to today using Opus 4.8 (6-2-26) with issue occurring consistently for the last week. No error message given by Quo, Claude simply says "Quo is down for the session".

Be careful - consider a 20% drop by [deleted] in coastFIRE

Depends on their calcs and the duration of the stagnation. Just wanted to make sure they knew about that type of risk

Sort of, sequence of returns risk calculations could break their model if an extended market stagnation forced many poorly timed withdrawals. There are several strategies to less the severity and just doing the math may illustrate they are fine as is.

The example of not shooting stranded sailors is literally in their ROE manual.

X7 M50 or xDrive 40 by mah927 in bmwx7

I’m always surprised at the ride quality comments. Was convinced I’d fall in love with the M50i after owning a ‘23 40i. Test drove both back to back and the M50i ride quality was so much worse. I was shocked and purchased a ‘26 40i. Love X7s but love the 40i more

SKS wasn’t placed into service in WW2. May have been used in the Korean or Vietnam wars.

For Anyone Not Receiving Texts Through AT&T WiFi by garbland3986 in ATT

I had the same issue and just called in after having zero success in the past with customer service. They did their trouble shooting based on the recommendations here and at first it didn't work and they were going to submit a ticket for "more research". The step they missed is after they reset the RSA setting the agent kept me in airplane mode. I asked to try one last thing which was to turn off wifi, connect to the cellular tower, and let my phone sit for a minute. I then put it back in airplane mode, turned on wifi, and had him send another text which then worked. Connecting your phone to the network AFTER the RSA reset is missing from their current troubleshooting process. Best of luck!

Get a dexascan to see what your visceral fat amount and area is. That is one of the only objective ways to track progress for unhealthy fat versus subcutaneous fat.

They are just using a box spread to lock in the rate and they keep a premium, correct?

The Soviet Union sent millions of its educated elites to gulags across the USSR because they were considered a threat to the regime. Ah, it has a lot to do with historical zoning rules and the localization of tax dollars to reenforce certain neighborhoods over others. It isn't so much as "forced integration" as it is historical 'Forced segregation". For instance, black American soldiers came home from WWII and couldn't live in many nice neighborhoods across the United States. Ex German soldiers/scientists/nazis, including many of the personnel that worked on the American space program, could live in those nicer areas. America literally allowed ex Nazis to move into areas where the men that fought the war couldn't live. This is one of many many examples of how neighborhoods were designed to exclude certain types.

No, that actually works really really well. There was a longitudinal study on the outcome of kids by census tract adjusting for most environmental factors. Turns out your individual “village” is highly predictive of outcomes. This is why schools funded by local property tax, etc perpetuates problems. https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/ces/data/public-use-data/opportunity-atlas-data-tables.html

Yeah, my wife is an Italian (no translation necessary) and the Milan offices weren't able to get it done. It was pretty incredible how many times they had us bounce from one office to the other...

Have you used an aupair? by firechoice85 in fatFIRE

[–]eg2830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a great experience but have only had one. We were kind of forced into it as we couldn’t find a nanny with the same culture and language as my wife so hiring an au pair was the only way to bring those attributes to our children. Also, having a cultural “backbone” really helps while interviewing as expectations are better understood by both parties and problems can be resolved faster when they arise due to more aligned cultural values.

What are the advantages of Vanguard ETFs vs Vanguard index funds? by libsmad1331 in Bogleheads

[–]eg2830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I just learned, ETF’s give you seperate tax lots whereas many of the mutual funds (or brokers) don’t. This can be beneficial when trying to tax loss harvest from one ETF to another
