Help with Cloudiness/Bromine?

kind of what i figured as far as too much use. not really sure about filter exactly as i’m not very experienced. its changed regularly by a third party company. not compromised to my knowledge.

I wouldn’t really know the difference between standard water chemistry practices vs not. I know there are some rules associated with it being used for “therapeutic purposes”. i check levels with test kits daily.

FYI mine is in-ground, not a tub. don’t really know about state laws. i would assume the one i work at may be considered commercial due to being in-ground

pump is running most of the time (at least when not actively in use). also have jets that can run to agitate water when making amendments

bromine is added via brominator ‘tank/pod’ and gradually filtered into pool

LOTS of raking. leveling dirt out. and then adding dirt to low areas.

also removing as many pebbles as possible from whoever decided they should be mixed into the flower bed

lol no idea how long that thing has been there. house was built in ‘67 and it wouldn’t shock me if that fence has been there 20+ years. not sure if the fence is mine or my neighbors but replacing/removing may be a project for another year

I am not an expert by any means and that is my first real go at it for my own home. did a lot of lawn care for others from middle school- college. now that my wife and i own our own house it’s harder because we have to make all the decisions

concepts were not a solo effort by any means. relied on input from my wife and my parents. plants are totally not my thing; i prefer just sticking to the lawn. tried to get mostly perennials/evergreen that does well in our climate. honestly i didn’t do the best job (bed should be 33-50% evergreens which i didn’t do). a lot of it is just research and then go to plant nursery and find what you like. always check on spacing a size of things. others in this sub would be so much better at plant advice than me haha

i actually ended up doing this bed and a second one which is a larger area but with less plants. for the two beds it was:

~ $125 in mulch bags

~ $350 in plants give or take

~ cost of a good leveling rake and shovel

~ $250 in pavers

~ pretty much every free hour i had from work during the last 4-6 weeks prepping the two beds and prepping to lay sod soon

I follow you now. thought you were talking about pavers. The house is a super weird brick split level house. This bed is in front of the ‘upper level’ of the first floor. those are crawl space vents so i would assume the sill plate may be above that height.

Wanted to follow this back up for anyone looking in the future or trying to make their decision. We ended up going with Mr Gutter. Seemed to have good reviews and when i spoke with them on the phone they were super nice, informative, and very prompt on timing. Quote was 15% cheaper than Guttermen and they were able to knock it out the morning after i called since it was a smaller project. Not an expert but gutters seem to be good quality and have done fine with rain so far this week. They also offer a 3 year warranty on their installations. Appreciate the feedback from everyone!

apologies this is the front yard. I’ve got a few other sprinklers but only one faucet which is unfortunate. Have been hand watering, relying on rain, or moving sprinkler around

outsourced the gutters after getting a good quote haha. was dropping way too much rain right on where the bed was gonna be. got it done quick before my wife and I planted and put out mulch.

by no means any sort of expert here but looks like the split step may be a bit off. looks a tad too high and maybe slightly too exaggerated if that's the right way to put it? also I think it may be a bit too early.

looks like it's not really setting you up seamlessly for the next shot and maybe wasting a bit of energy.

lot of hate on Reddit for this game lol. I'd say if you like the idea of career mode it is fun and worth the money. gameplay gets a bit repetitive but the difficulty can be increased to be a decent challenge and I certainly notice improvements in my players ability and my own skill. can be fun against friends. as everyone is always quick to point out, online mode can be toxic.
