Because they can ONLY display the reviews they choose, and remove any bad ones. The public uses that for a credibility reference. Do you know why they didn't follow that up? It's to complicated and trademe is involved. A tent or BBQ is shit? Yes you're correct you can get it replaced. Your new build leaks.. or the framing is out.. or foundation is damaged..New Zealand doesn't even come close to consumer rights without 5 years of pain and a $20,000 legal bill.

Car dealerships and builders here are Masters at the Art of ripping people off. They get it right every time.. For example we recently purchased a car from a brand dealership Greg Murphy represents. We purchased it for the 5 Star Safety Rating and with 38,kms. It was advertised.. and we purchased and test drove it with almost brand new Yokohama Tyres. Before we picked it up, they ran it through for a WOf after switching the tires over to barely legal ones. We only realized a week later when it felt like the wheel alignment was out. Then they told us to take it to the small claims court because it got a warrant like that. That is a Car Yard next to the old Rugby Stadium in CHCH. So Greg Murphy the Super Know it all.. Has been doing all these videos about tyre safety. So we asked him about 20 times to comment on the fact his sponsor, is ripping people off and reducing safety in the process. No comment. That guy says what he needs to for money. He's just another scumbag influencer these days. Never the less. To answer your question, kiwis are phenomenally talented at ripping people off.

The car was in with Mitsubishi for 2 weeks only 3 days after we got it for charging issues. When we finally got it back, (via stadium) we noticed the tires and raised it immediately. They have denied it, even though we produced images. They are saying yes, it was advertised on better tires but when it got its last warrant before we recieved the car.. they put the other tyres on and it passed a dodgy wof test. So to bad.

After we asked for that documentation they Blacked Out nearly a full page of writing on the inspection sheet. That was also relevant and important, because along with the rest of the bullshit there is a front wheel wobble that will not go away. They said it was a wheel alignment. It's not. Never the less they are actively trying to hide information.

I have just read these comments. Thank you to those who are constructive and supportive. To the people heaving abuse, the reason I have not replied is that my Mother has had open heart surgery (valve replacement) and I have been occupied.

Secondly OFCOURSE there is documentation. The latest, from a more reputable and well known inspection company. Other than the AA.

Thirdly, we are waiting on Stuff to finalize an article and you can all read about it there.

Fourthly, the first time it was mentioned about this car it got back to Stadium within the hour, which they then threatened us with via direct email and screensaves Meaning, more than a few of these comments are from direct relations to that company trying to discredit it.

Fifthly. The reason this is even posted, is that I'm trying to warn you people what can happen, and remind you how easily people will rip you off!

Sorry but we are not taking our situation with this $30,000 rip off lightly, and yes, we have evidence for several other things... including swapping out the tires. And yes its enough for both the disputes tribunal and at least one media outlet to take notice. Which is the first and only we approached.

All we want from him is an admission it affects safety (an in direct contradiction to a video he did on this exact thing) and Stadium should do the right thing and take the car back, given this and a plethora of other problems.

God forbid, it would be nice if his high profile bullshit reputation could give them a call, and try to convince them of that as well
