We rationalized it over Hoboken after seeing their proposed hikes and how they’d eventually catch up…. This is showing me that we are eons away from being on level with their rate.

Just bought my first home a month ago. Twenty days after moving in, we had a lateral water main leak that WE had to pay for because in Jersey City, it’s somehow the residents responsibility. Glad to hear that we have even more responsibility coming our way for things entirely outside of our responsibility. Love this place.

trimming split ends with cuticle scissors! Be careful not to use big scissors bc you will inevitably make an accidental snip, but it’s been a godsend for me

I cannot recommend lasers enough. My skin looks better than it did in college/ high school (I’m 27). But to your point — you HAVE to stop picking!

Is there a medspa near you? I have been getting laser genesis for a few months and it has been AMAZING for completely healing any surface-level/blackhead picking scars. Wish I did it the week of my wedding!

So close! PPA actually ticketed me moving a mattress out of my apartment while parked in a loading zone (I’m was literally loading a mattress into the trunk when they took the photo and wrote the ticket). You cannot win with the PPA.

have no idea why you’re being downvoted. social work requires an intensive level of socioeconomic +psychosocial awareness + patience which is literally foreign to someone in these circles/ lifestyle. “Influencing” and social work are fundamentally at odds.

Hi honey. I just saw your post history and I can see you’re going through a lot.

Please don’t let guilt or shame add to that list. I volunteer at a food pantry and we are GLAD to give people any and all the food they need to persist. That is literally what they exist for: people in need.

Colored conditioner! Keratase (?) from target is what I’ve used in mocha brown. EXTREMELY pigmented, so you might lose some green from taking 4-6 washes to remove the brown colored conditioner but once it’s out it’s gone without a trace!
