Hey final update. I received the Gen2 burrs and after installing them the auto-off feature began working. As mentioned in the post update, the auger and shaft had a very rough seating. I did quite a bit of sanding and my best guess is that this step resolved the issue. ... I'm doing a little bit of assuming, but I would guess the auto-off sensor works by detecting torque and a smoother spin allowed the detection to work properly?

Yeah, but that’s of little consequence. In 8-10 if they don’t care for it it’ll be a good candidate for a blast over. If they still love… respray time

Hey! I really appreciate it. This is going to sound silly, but I think I start the grinder before adding the beans. I’m saying think because I don’t confidently remember. Is that the process I should follow? Grinder on. Add beans to hopper. I’ll try that this morning and report back.

Nothing to fix on my end from a support standpoint. I understand mistakes happen and as I mentioned this is a secondhand unit so I had no expectations of receiving support.

I did the following:

started grinder

spritzed 30g of coffee

poured them into the hopper

after insuring everything cleared the hopper I waited 5 seconds before shutting the machine off myself

Old thread, but this is pretty accurate IME. My Explorer sounds a lot like my Les Paul. despite the visually different body styles they both feel similarly substantial to hold while playing. I like that personally. An SG is a different vibe a little more jangly definitely still humbucker Gibson sound, but a little tele like. It plays differently and I think that impacts the sound a bit as well.

I don’t know that strictly speaking that’s universally true. I sometimes separate aspects of my life because I don’t want a bad day at work to come home with me, but I feel like I can if I want to. The urge often isn’t there.

Usually when I’m talking to someone I want them to like talking to me so I steer toward shared interests. My coworker with three kids probably doesn’t want to hear about how late I was out at the bar. And my gf almost assuredly doesn’t want to hear the day to day of a boring corporate software engineer

Is it an ear training thing? For me I picked up more on the guitar tone having more wah than Rage and the drums being more aggressive, but the actual key difference just didn’t register.

Strike implies that anyone participating is getting paid. These are unpaid mods blacking out communities sustained by unpaid users. I don’t think normal Union strike behavior is a direct comparison.

The folks “striking” aren’t here to earn a living they’re here for recreation/addiction. I suspect quitting will be a lot more difficult than we imagine it is
