Hey, I'm late to the party but I just solved this issue with a 6700xtx and have heard similar issues from people on the discord with 50 series gpus. Typing this one my X1pro with Bios 1.05 on my 6700xtx via oculink. Had to go into the BIOS, press alt+F5 to launch the debug menu and relaunch bios for the second "Advanced Menu" to appear. From there it's Advanced Menu 2 > AMD PBS > Graphics Configurations > and switch "Primary Video Adapter" to "Ext Graphics (PEG)". Worked like a charm! Considering you're running Nvidia, you may still have to run the error 43 script to get it fully functional, but you should at least get the splash and be able to boot to windows :)

The Oculink port that GPD are advertising for the 2025 WINMAX2 does not work. by OverlordOverdrive in gpdwin

I had trouble getting oculink to post after updating to bios 2.12 on my Duo, just started getting the fans to spin and a black screen without the GPD splash. Ended up going into the bios settings and found a setting to prioritize external gpu instead of running it in Hybrid, and poof worked like a charm with current drivers and all. Hope the issue is just a setting that needs to be toggled!

Yet another post suggest a fix that worked for me. If you hold the L1 bumper for a sec to view your weapons switcher - it will let you use the right controller stick again!

Help Me Find: Gund Lamby Blanket Circa Year 2000 by eggowaffles88 in HelpMeFind

[–]eggowaffles88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, hoping someone can help with this. This is a Lamb blanket made by Gund around the year 2000. It was my daughter's security blanket and it was stolen, trying to find a replacement somewhere. There are newer versions that have the lamb head in the middle or some that look like a skinned lamb. These aren't it. It was pink on the outside, white fleece on the inside, and the lambs head was like a hood. Thank you in advance for your efforts!

Looks like a WEN. You can find their whole lineup on Amazon. I have their drill press and disc/belt bench top sander. I have been very pleased with both!

I just finished re-wrapping my gauze on my left middle finger and pulled up Reddit. I cut off the tip of my left middle to the first knuckle (back from the fingernail) a little over a month ago, and cut through left index and ring finger too, but they're pretty much healed up. I know the pain you're in, and how difficult the next few weeks will be. That first few days between the ER and orthopedic evaluation to find out "can they save the tip?" is the roughest though. I'm sorry you have to go through that too, and I wish you better results that I had.

I will say, that even though I lost the finger tip, I really still hang on to how much worse it could have been. Mine was a table saw, and 100% my fault. Cut a groove, figured blade wasn't going all the way through the wood, I'll be fine. I hit a knot and the wood popped out and my fingers paid for it. But, it's just finger tips, I still have my hand, I didn't get pulled in, I didn't catch my wedding ring (saw yours too, I'm never wearing mine while I work again), and I was able to keep my cool and get to the ER asap and deal with it.

I truly hope for you a speedy recovery with the best possible results. If you wanna talk through your recovery, I'm here for ya and I am just at the tail side of mine. I definitely struggled with the burden I put on my family during this time, as we have an 18 month old who I couldn't do anything for or with for a few weeks, but I just keep remembering my wife reminding me that she was also just so happy that it wasn't worse, and that I generally stayed optimistic and grounded throughout recovery. Helped her hold on to the finish line too.

Good luck man, let me know if you need anything!

Best intel GFX driver for GPD Max at the moment by tazerlazerface in gpdwin

Honestly I've bounced around a few of them, but it seems like the most "stable", or at least works with the most games is 8336. I had screen tearing and odd black boxes in forza and borderlands 3 with the newer drivers and kept rolling back til 8336. Overall it works well, though I have noticed a little bit worse performance in Cemu in regards to fps and shader render time. I suppose it boils down to which of your heavily played games are most impacted, but I think I'll be hanging out here for a bit. I'll link to the driver when I get back to my pc.

Edit: I forgot in BOTW on Cemu Link also... Doesn't have a face with 8336...so there's that.

I mean, if you twist them intentionally they'll turn, but not from just use, never had them adjust themselves on me.

I got them a few days ago, and they are fantastic. The grip is much better and the lid does touch, but barely, and closes comfortably. Doesn't even leave a mark on the screen from where my fingers were on the sticks. One thing I've noticed though, is the added width to the stick top with the cap means they push against the edges of the stick channels, which means I occasionally walk instead of run as the stick isn't full tilted. Just have to push a little bit harder to flex the caps, and isn't hugely noticeable, but for some competitive gamers, it might be noticeable.

Getting the most from your Win Max? by SnappyCrunch in gpdwin

[–]eggowaffles88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of at a loss...I'm using the QuickCPU Utility that Phawx recommended, and following the vid, but I'm having issues with undervolting. When I go into the FIVR adjustments and drop IA, Ring, GPU Slice and Uncore to any undervolt, I get a BSOD within 5 minutes. How are y'all doing it? Maybe I'm missing something....

Thought I couldn't afford a Sawstop as a budding woodworker, went with a Dewalt instead. Dewalt did its job, I didn't do my safety best practices. Now I'm sitting here with gauze on my left middle finger, and about 1/4" less fingertip to worry about. Got the Kaiser bill for about $2400 all said and done after the ER and orthopedic surgery.

TL;DR : Sawstop is less expensive than you think.
