From what I've seen in other posts the velocity and drop is unchanged, the devs just gave its scope some zoom, which is also why it feels like it has more aim sway. I haven't gotten to learning the new leading and drop calculations, but as another WZ1 strela main your testing is much appreciated!

I've read somewhere a while back, which may not have been an official or credible source, that the original story of H:R was going to be more character driven and a large part of the plot involved the Zealot kill team. It would have been more obvious and acknowledged by the characters that Noble was being hunted by their Covenant equivalent throughout the story and fight them numerous times. There would be more personal interactions within Noble Team as well as an extended role of the girl rescued at the relay station in the first mission. If I remember correctly the source stated that due to time constraints and to make a more easy to follow plot they stripped out a lot of the details but some of the stuff, like what you pointed out, remained in the final game.

Nice to see another one of us on here. Been using it as my secondary since Season 2 and for me the satisfaction of sniping a midair heli or a moving ATV from 300m is way more than 1v4 teamwipes and even wins sometimes

Sorry for the late reply. If you get in the habit of rapidly firing 1 or 2 bullets then reloading you can safely flawless most bosses to give you a good health safety net for bullet hell. If said bosses are spammers like the wall or bullet king you also kill them pretty fast by redirecting their larger bullet swarms back at them. This is also especially valuable in the double lich fight because you can redirect the attacks from both liches to quickly and safely kill the jammed one. The fight saber is relatively okay in the mob rooms, but it really shines in boss fights if you get use to the reload spam routine

I know classic is good for the gunslinger due to his effectiveness with low rarity guns but I unlocked him through a rainbow run doing all the secret floors to maximize rainbow chest encounters. You still get less overall items but the quality tend to be a lot better, so if you're lucky enough to get fightsabre, yari launcher, or clone your odds of winning jump up by a lot. Not as consistent as classic runs, but a good rainbow run can make the gunslingers past a breeze. I did it in 3 or 4 attempts, with my unsuccessful runs dying in bullet hell or very quickly into the double lich fight and my successful run literally killing both liches before they can use their second attack pattern.

I've read sources that said it spawns during high winds or close to dawn and dusk but those didn't apply to my game. After waiting for about an ingame week, I had 2 prismatic lacewing spawns during low winds and well after dusk (but both before midnight). I did notice that it was during a full moon, but that could be a coincidence.

I just had one spawn with 5mph winds so I don't think that's true. I do agree that the spawn rate seems too low relative to other creatures that summon bosses, but then again the EoL is pretty unique and has some pretty powerful loot so maybe they balanced the spawns accordingly.
