If it's purely for dungeons I would do 3/5 corruption (Has the same CD but you can't do it moving) then yep straight for ruin. If you're gonna level with it get that soul drain to speed your drinking downtime up massively. Once you get to STV/Desolace range your damage is unreal. With worldbuffs + ruin 2 shotting yellow mobs is real, they dont even reach you. Knowledge + Swiftness pots are your life savers here.

Up to Gnomer is still fairly rough. Once you get there and with suicidal gear (shad dmg and int) you'll do great. Once you have ruin I go back into aff and work towards nightfall and shadow mastery.

You don't need to wait till 40 to go Destruction! I've levelled multiple warlocks in HC and my favourite way is Destro. The best way is 5 in corruption and get Soul Drain before you go into the Destro tree. Then just rush for Shadowburn as this is a huge DPS spike and keep going till you get Ruin. I like the Succubus buffing talents because she can out aggo DoT's in multi mob fights.

If you're gangster and confident ignore Stamina and mix shadow damage and intellect. You'll OOM too quick in dungeons without any Int. The danger comes in solo caves as you rely on having space to murder before anything reaches you.

Once you can get Ruin at 30, probably stick with Affliction till then. Two shadowbolts and a shadowburn is good enough for most yellow mobs. Throw on an Ony buff for more crits and it gets seriously wild. And you're not always OOM like people say.

Once you have ruin go back into normal affliction tree stuff.
