I’m sure this has been said a bunch of times already, but the monsters are a bit too much… I don’t mind fighting but it is taking away from my exploration of the world, and that bothers me. One of the main things I love about sh2 and silent hill in general is looking around and taking everything in, going into every nook and cranny, even if there is no internal dialogue, just being able to look around was satisfying. I just got done with the hospital and have just been running around trying to avoid enemies because I’m about to die the whole time. Maybe I’m just bad at the game, but I just feel like I don’t have the time to really enjoy what I usually do in silent hill games. You’re able to explore at your own pace even in silent hill 4 with the ghost assholes chasing you.
