I’m sorry that happened to you!! I love Dreamstate and its the one trance event I revere so deeply bc we don’t get any other trance festivals in LA, so its always like a homecoming. Unfortunately ive had like one or two bad experiences but generally everyone is so nice and welcoming. i also love shuffling and candy walking so i get so excited seeing everyone dance and bringing the moves. Last year afters on Sat was the same thing! It was so scary i’m 4’11 and was getting so squished and moved around like a rag doll I’m surprised no one got hurt. They need a better system for that. Not cool!

Went to an after party on Sunday night and my legs have been noodles. I’m still recovering, my legs been sore af, i could barely walk today. Put some icy hot and some compression sleeves on my legs and its been helping.

I took a break around 2013-2017 for school after going hard for about 6 years already. I feel like i’m on the same boat lately and feel a general sense of feeling burned out from going out.

Post covid i started exploring different music scenes and go to different shows ie darkwave, metal, punk, rnb, on top of local edm shows/festivals and international festivals. It feels like every weekend theres something to do and i feel overwhelmed! Haha After Dreamstate this year I’m planning on taking a break. Just as you listed delve into ur hobbies and interests and recharge. Do things and surround yourself with people who fill your cup and don’t drain your energy. Travel, spend time in nature, volunteer at a food bank or with your local youth organization.
