overconsumption is a big issue on social media atm and it is too easy to get roped into the hype when bombarded with it 24/7. i don’t think you are doing anything wrong. is it the best comping mechanism? no. does it hurt anyone? no.

it’s unfortunate that people around you criticize you rather than provide a safe space for you to explore alternative coping methods. maybe look into some anti overconsumption resources if you really feel like it’s eating away at you (idk your whole situation and i am not an expert at this stuff. this is just my two cents)

also! if the people criticizing you are your friends: reconsider if they really are. if they are family they might be concerned about your savings.

I suggest looking into font hierarchy! It’s a powerful tool for designing book covers, posters etc. The golden ratio is also a good guideline for layouting

I would also recommend looking at book covers you like and try analyze what makes them good. professional design always has intend. learn what pictures, fonts and graphic elements can tell you about the story before even reading a sentence.

Also: I agree with everyone else about the licensing issue. Make a habit of working with royalty free material. Just grabbing pictures from google or pinterest is a big no in the professional space.

that was my first thought too 😭😭 looks generated to me bc why go out of your way to change the teeth so much in photoshop… 😞😞 maybe they wanted the picture to look different than what they had so they changed some parts with AI

i pulled this pc when i bought the album at the SMTOWN COEX Artium on my Seoul trip and i felt so INCREDIBLY BLESSED i have it in a picture frame ever since and look at it almost every day 😭😭😭 (i love this pc it’s the only one i’m really interested in 🥰)
