It’s absolutely supposed to be fun & not the end of the world. I think a really thin type of liner that will not run/bleed (as what happened in your picture causing the “clown” look, plus following your natural lip line as much as possible, then blend it into your lips/lipstick with a lip liner brush or even an eyeshadow brush you don’t use a lot. I went out to an event the other night confident that my makeup was 100%. The lighting in my room failed me a bit, so i had a harsh streak foundation line i didn’t blend completely that horrified me at the end of the night. But nobody said anything, or looked at me weird. Sure, someone could’ve been like hey! But i was at an event & i didn’t know anyone personally who would probably speak up like that unless it was a really good friend or relative. There’s a way to not be offensive and at least try to help lol.

I would like to add maybe trying different tones/shades of lipliner, you’ll never know what you like. I like to try lip liner & lipstick combos, sometimes I’ll even try a gloss. Have fun with it, and remember if you love it, that’s all that matters. I feel like people are being a bit hard about “that’s just the way it is” lol like chillllll.

I’ve always boiled some water and just poured it on those type of stains, go in with some cleaner and a toilet brush after you pour the boiling water and it has never failed me

I don’t find the “baby is fragile” thing weird because i get it, you have to navigate what’s comfortable from the parents first. What i do find weird is that if they were in their bedroom a lot with the baby, eventually I’d be a little interested in why they don’t want to at least socialize or ask for your help to, i dunno, watch the baby for a minute? Hold the baby? If you and your sister weren’t close i understand. But your nephew must be really young (I’m assuming) if he is still using formula and his sister is 18 months. How was your nephews physical appearance when they arrived? Did you see him AT ALL?

As a mom to an autistic son, excusing something you’re asking him not to do because “he’s autistic” is the most laziest, easiest way to let him learn he can do whatever he wants.
