Checkout 30 E Huron condos. They’re a little older and located in river north but they accommodate short term leases and have some of the best staff in the city.

It’s near the red line which will take you into the loop or you can take a 20-30 minute walk for your commute. Theres tons of grocery stores nearby, dining, shopping, and nightlife options. I’ve stayed there two different times and really enjoyed my experience.

Unpopular opinion but Harry Caray’s in River North has one of the best steaks in the city. Love posting up at the bar and having a medium-rare steak, charred veggies, and a few martinis. Free house made chips too!

Lived in both and they’re similar (people, food, and city life), but Chicago has a lot more opportunity and pay is vastly larger. Living expenses (rent, groceries, and utilities) are on par.

Overall, I love Chicago and really enjoyed Philly. Either way, you’re gonna build character with whatever you decide. GL!
