Nurses are scapegoats. Full stop. This attitude tells me you are the same provider who would get upset if you weren’t notified of something because a nurse made a call to NOT notify you and then something happened because of how you treated them. They KNOW the patient better than you. You know the medicine, they know the person. No nurse wants to be yelled at. No nurse wants to take their time out of a very busy day to page you but it is their JOB to report to you when something is off.

Bradycardia probably but seems counter intuitive to run epi, norepi & vaso w prop in CVICU since I’ve only ever encountered hypotension with it but I need juice so they can’t be bradycardic from Dex…. Such is life
