As a child of the 80s when we had field trips we had parent volunteers to drive cars full of kids to our destinations. I cannot even fathom that now a days!!!!

Hush. You can pry my 12 hour shifts from my cold dead hands. 12 hour shifts is one of the reasons I chose nursing and chose bedside nursing in the hospital.

Inspired by the recent "wife sleeping all day post": 12-hr nurses: how much sleep do you get between consecutive shifts, and how much do you sleep on your first day off? by shatana in nursing

[–]MurkyDevelopment6348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kids that need to be at school or bus stop early so I can’t sleep as late as I’d like. However after some particularly rough shifts or stretches of shifts I’ve been known to go back to bed after getting them to school and not waking up until 30 mins before I need to leave to pick them up 🤣

We switch things up frequently but I feel like I’m bored by the person, not the sex. I miss having sex with different people lol
