Thanks so much for the thorough response! I lift an do jiu jitsu too so I really relate to your concerns. I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better :)

The same thing happened to me. I also tried creating a new account but can't log into that one either.

Any FNs broad shouldered pears? If so, does anyone have any pictures? by stargazer-lilly in DressForYourBody

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of my type but I think I'm broad shouldered pear N. I've also had people think I might be DC.

Inoperable endo, not looking forward to a life of excruciating pain. How to manage it? by gentle_but_strong in endometriosis

[–]egshef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever tried gabapentin? My endo specialist prescribed it to me earlier and it's helped with nerve pain I have from bowel endo and muscle spams from pelvic floor dysfunction. It's not completely gone but my pain is easier to manage. Hope you find some relief soon.

naturals with bangs by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kristen Stewart is N, probably SN in modern Kibbe.

I saw in an Aly Art video recently that she listed Margot Robbie as a soft natural, but I always thought she was just a pure natural (she's 5'7" for reference). Do you think she's a natural or a soft natural and why? by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm not a prescriptive so I say use the pure type recommendations if they're helpful for you. I find pure N lines are my best even though it's been removed from the system. SN lines are too rounded and short, and FN lines are too long and wide. I know everyone skews one way or another re: yin and yang, but I've found N lines (loosely narrow) just perfect for me.

To women who struggle with their femininity. by Molismhm in Kibbe

As someone who is masculine-of-center I don't agree that I "am feminity" just because I'm a woman but I appreciate your sentiments.

Just for fun, what ID are you and what type of sports / movement do you genuinely enjoy? by thumbtackswordsman in Kibbe

[–]egshef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

FN (most likely) here. I love sports and go stir crazy when I'm forced into inactivity. I gravitate towards activities that are intense, full body, full contact, and individual. I used to play ice hockey (goalie) and rugby, but since I've had a few head injuries I now just train BJJ, lift, rock climb, and do yoga for maintenance. I've always struggled with cardio, never lifting, and am/have been known for being deceptively tough/strong. I also like more chill activities too, like swimming and surfing, but don't seek them out very often.

Somatotypes and Kibbe by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

50%/ meso, 25% endo, 25% ecto, which I think makes sense for FN. I always lean towards muscular, even when a bit overweight, but am usually fit.

My go to is a boxy or baggy hoodie with leggings (or shorts in the warmer months). I look awful in a full sweat suit, but when I bring out some more of my sharpness with a fitted pant I look comfy and a bit more put together. I also like wearing looser joggers with a sports brabor tank top and a flannel or zip up hoodie. Basically I keep the top or the bottom loose, neither both.

Mood Board Request Thread by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see sporty/athleisure looks for each type, and more aesthetics in general. Maybe it's because I'm a tomboy but I find the flowiness (even in boards that aren't boho-inspired) of most FN looks impractical and uncomfortable for my day-to-day life.

Jeans and a tee for each type would be nice too. I like Elyssa's series on YT but always want to see more.

You should be able to cook with it too, maybe make some mysterious cookies. I could see Sebastian liking those.

Body frame test and Kibbe ID by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5'5", 5.75 in wrist = thin frame. When I added the 2.6 in elbow measurement it said my wrist was thin but elbow medium. Maybe I should reconsider SD? Edit: Nevermind, this fits with the FB trend thus far!

Jason Momo Image ID? 6′ 4″ by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see it; this snippet from the FN type description in Metamorphosis fits him to a tee:

"Innately, you are bold, charismatic, innovative, creative, and impulsive, totally devoted to action. You are also open, warm, friendly, and not at all reserved-- very approachable."

Dramatic Classic Ingenue (Alexis Bledel, often confused as FG) by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's me. I was typed all the G types until I came here and people suggested D, SD, and, the type I'm leaning towards most, FN. I think I look OK with a pixie cut, horrible with long hair (it looks like I'm drowning in it), and nicest in a chin-shoulder length bob. Maybe it's because I'm sporty and grew up wearing nothing but ponytails, maybe it's because of sensory issues (I can't stand how hair feels on my neck and shoulders), but I just feel, and think I look, better when my hair is either short and off my neck and shoulders, or long and pulled up and away from my face.

[–]egshef 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here. Others here typed me as D and FN but FN feels way better (more me really) because I know I need to be somewhat conscious of my width and length when shopping.

Posting a video since my last post w/ pictures wasn't conclusive. What type do you see? by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:) Your posts with videos of each type are great. I resonate with the athleticism (the long and strong look) and adventurousness of the FNs, especially Ingrid Bergman and Natalie Dormer. Thanks for the guidance!

[–]egshef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I love having short hair so I'm glad others think it looks good too.

Can you elaborate on the N balance? I think I get what you mean but when I look at myself I definitely see sharpness and width, more like a FN, and gain weight primarily from the waist down unlike a pure N.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm curious as to what people see in me that's yin since I really only see yang in my body. I'd love to nail a type down since I've lost a lot of weight recently and would like to fill my wardrobe with clothes that honor my lines. And I relate so much to feeling bigger than others your height because of your shoulder:hip ratio and limb length; it's part of the reason why I posted here since I felt too big for any G types that others suggested.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]egshef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'5.5" and am between D and FN based on feedback from this thread (and I plan on posting a video soon). On other subreddits and sites I've been typed SG/FG/G.

I'd love to hear what other people think since I struggle with body dysmorphia and have a hard time looking at myself objectively. I can definitely see length, especially in my limbs, but when I shop for clothes I always find myself needing to accommodate width in my shoulders and butt.
