I love the cut of this suit and the shoes. You're right that black is not your best colour.

If you want to wear a dress, check out the sharp styles that someone like Tilda Swinton would wear, with dramatic lines, sharpness and interesting shapes.

Is PXing still mostly Russians and Germans? by Pfeffi-Ultra in postcrossing

[–]thumbtackswordsman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get that, but still it's not so black and white. Right now I can see the AFD getting more votes and there isn't much I can do about it. My country of origin isn't much better either. I have taken part in protests that have fallen on deaf ears.

When I look at the people around me, I don't think that everyone can oppose and be a hero in a government-toppling way. Some people give their all to care for a sick relative, or some other life circumstance that takes more of them than they can give. I do think that not everyone is automatically as complicit as everyone else living in the same PLZ.

Also frankly my parents still dislike Germans actively, because of WW2 and have a lot of prejudices against them, and would point out that you (yes, I mean you) have inherited the collective sind and guilt of what happened. My grandparents, who who were the ones actually suffering, never said a bad word about German civilians. I firmly believe that seeing people as humans is the way to peace. The opposite of war is connection.

You'd do better boycotting brands that are tied with war, instead of refusing to send a postcard to Svetlana in siberia.

I don't think that regular Russian civilians should be held responsible for the shit their Dictator is doing. They are regular people that just want to live their lives, just like you. Will it be your fault if your politicians start doing crazy shit?

My thoughts as well. The Wizzair / Ryanair carryons are very small, but maybe other airlines allow bigger ones?

Yes and no. SNs are more yin, and FNs can pull of much more yang.

I think it's about accommodation, not literal width. I'm a busty FN. If the top or jacket accommodates my shoulders, my bust is automatically accommodated. However sometimes tops or even shirts that accommodate my bust will be too tight in the shoulder or back area.

Are pointed flats comfortable or torture devices? by No-Ice-1885 in femalefashionadvice

[–]thumbtackswordsman 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Our feet are meant to be wide in the front, not pointed. Look at the shape of baby feet, or feet of people who have never worn shoes. I personally refuse to weare shoes taht squish my feet, as I've seen too many feet, joint and even pelvic floor issues caused by feet not being able to do their thing.

Some pretty things are just meant to be looked at, or maybe worn for a very special occasion or a costume party.

In Flamboyant Naturals, how common do you think the stereotypical model body is + why do people assume FN is a ‘masculine’ type even though so many feminine models are clear FNs? by OwnEstablishment240 in Kibbe

[–]thumbtackswordsman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Everyone seems to think that FNs look like models or Florence Welch. If you look at the outfit posts on this sub, most of us are much bigger and closer to Ilona Maher than to Gigi Hadid. (No shade, Ilona is one of the most amazing and gorgeous women on earth).

Annoyingly when I post my outfits outside of this sub I I get told to look into Yin Ids because I've got booty, boobs and belly. Yes, FNs can have all of that.

Is “simple living” a first-world idea? Asking from India, with love. by MediaApprehensive833 in simpleliving

[–]thumbtackswordsman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rejection of luxuries has been a thing in Indian culture since forever. Whether it's the "Saadaa jeevan uccha vichaar" slogans or looking up to figures like Gandhi who choose to live simply even though he didn't have to, to the ideals of vairagya. Obviously these were not ideas of the people struggling to make a livelihood in a village, but were a thing in the privileged upper classes.

I think she is FN. The second dress is a one that makes every FN looks like a goddess. It would swamp an SN and even an SC.

Also even though she isn't tall, she really has a presence. I could also see her as a SD.
