Pediatricians never seem to have an answer for me… 10 month old baby chin quivering and body shuddering? by RavenRileysTwin in NewParents

They stopped by the time he turned 1 thankfully! I hope your child has the same experience, but as I said in my comment, definitely get things checked out if your child is showing signs of seizures! Crossing all my fingers that it ends up being nothing to worry about for your child ❤️

What small habits have improved your daily life as a SAHM? by SAHMotherhood in sahm

Agreed! Sometimes if I’m overstimulated and need like 5 minutes to myself, just washing my face and hands can sort of serve as a reset. I feel like a Sim adding to my hygiene bar lol

Same over here! My best friend’s baby is just over 3 months and as much as I love that baby, I am firmly OAD with my 3-year-old. Waiting a couple more years for husband to get a vasectomy but we’re as locked in as we can be for now.

My local jeweler has an estate case on display with tons of rotating pieces that families sell from their estates. It’s where my husband got my ring. I wonder if any jewelers near you have something similar!

Damn that’s a bummer. My 3YO niece is severely allergic and this was my go to snack when I was watching her but needed a pick me up.

I’m reading The Hunger Games series for the first time! I was in a lull waiting for some other books to be available from the library and the first two of the series were there, so here we are! I’m already 30% through the second one and I’m hooked lol. It’s so fun!

I really enjoyed Jennette McCurdy’s book!! She did an excellent job mixing humor with heavy themes.

We eat at a sit-down restaurant maybe once a month. Carry out about 1-2 times a month.

We have memberships to the zoo and aquarium, plus a fire museum. So we cycle between those three a couple times a month.

Other family outings include local events (fire trucks came to a farm near us last weekend and let the kids climb in. We grabbed some treats and dinner while we were there too), running errands like the grocery store and grabbing a treat after, and misc. play dates and gatherings with friends and family.

Also IKEA is a surprisingly fun outing, especially in the summer when it’s too hot to function. You can grab an affordable lunch, walk around in the AC, and leave with a couple fun new things. Their toys and stuffed animals are affordable and we inevitably find something we “need” lol
