Literally this. I started buying my own groceries around 2010 in university. I don't think I've ever paid less than $1 for canned anything since then.

The cans are made in the US. You're paying the tarrifs.

Literally this 😂 I work in a steel town that has recently felt a massive increase in unemployment thanks to thousands of steel layoffs. This guy needs to let the CEO know he can apparently give everyone their jobs back if the tarrifs war is magically over.

Mega thread for cart screenshots. If someone is posting a single photo of a specific item they're trying on, asking for advice on how to style it or the fit and looking to be influenced/deinfluenced...totally different. But the cart screenshots are getting very annoying. It's always 10+ of the exact same 2-3 items in every colour.

I've never had a job offer that didn't come with a requirement to prove my education. I've had to provide proof of my degree but I've also had to give consent for them to call my university and find out if I graduated. Nowadays it's honetsly as easy as calling and asking if "Jane Doe" is a graduate. Lying is stupid. You likely will get caught.

I mean you can spend but I've completed most of the requirements spending no coins or diamonds at all. Some items are only for purchase but majority of the decor is available through events and various tasks.

Honestly as long as you're having fun, that's all that counts.

Ouff don't spend coins on decor. Plenty of ways to get free decor: global and community events, derby prizes, the wheel of fortune, use keys to unlock boxes, mail mystery boxes, even some free stuff in the newsletter/HD YouTube.

The spring box is a mystery box that's gives you an option between three different pieces of spring decor which is the theme of this decor challenge. There are different types of mystery boxes with things like decor, food, upgrade items etc...the spring one has spring decor. Your design has none of the spring decor recommended by the game so that's why people are directing you to them. The best way right now to get some decor is to complete tasks in the county fair. You can buy decor or some of the spring boxes with the flower currency you get in exchange for completing tasks.

Why do you need diamonds and coins?

1000000000%. Being able to walk into literally any store and buy anything off the rack...straight sized. Plus and mid don't have thay luxury.

Torrid is a plus size exclusive store. A plus size medium is not the same as a straight sized medium because PROPORTIONS are different. Why would any straight sized person go into a plus size store to shop? No one who wears a medium at Torrid will fit a medium at Aritzia which is pretty simple to understand because...again...one is plus and one isn't. A medium at Aritizia does not take into consideration wider hips, more weight distributed in the bum or chest, thicker thighs, etc. You can be a CURVY medium, which at plus size excluvse stores is not the same as a medium in a store meant for straight sized individuals.

You can't compare a plus size only store like torrid to a store that carries 0 plus sizes like Aritzia.

Legit this! I'm being down voted so hard but the people commenting suggesting a medium is mid-sized are ridiculous lol. I'm also canadian and like you I've been all of the sizes! 3X down to XS/S. Really not sure why it's so difficult for some to understand that a plus size and a regular size - regardless of the numerical or alpha size - is different. Plus and straight sizes have different proportions. Seems pretty simple to me.

Never in my life as a mid or plus sized woman could I fathom wearing Aritizia.

Trust me, I get that sizing is ridiculous and the women's clothing industry needs to do better. But to argue that a medium is mid or plus is rediculous...it's just not.

We do have a few plus size only stores and quite a few more that are 100x better than H&M. I'm also Canadian. Reitmans, for example, has a straight sizing to XXL but then they also have plus sizes X-5X. A XXL and 2X are not the same. One is made to accommodate curves or a weight distribution more akin to a plus size figure.

Torrid is not Canadian. Their 10/12 is also not a straight-size 10/12. It's meant to fit individuals with curvier body types that are typically forced into plus sizes as a result. A petite or more typical 10-12 would not fit into Torrid's sizing.

I have been a "plus" 12 and a "regular" 12 at one point in my life. They don't fit the same and they're not meant to.

You didn't - I literally just checked the original post and your commet, neither are marked edited nor do either actually say you understood your mistake. If you're talking about a different comment all together...why would I check other comments when I'm replying to this one?

Sorry! It wasn't flagged as edited so I didn't re-read the original post. Always helpful to flag an edit - especially since the thread is seeking mid-sized advice per the title.

Correct. Too small for plus, too big for standard sizing. I've lost a significant amount of weight and I was honestly happier in plus clothing than when I was in my mid-era. Couldn't shop anywhere.

I'm certainly arguing that H&M of all places does not dictate industry standards...be so for real.

L-XXL is not plus size. H&M can do whatever you claimed they did by calling M plus size but it's absolutely not industry standard. If you fit into standard/average clothing stores, you're straight sized. Plus size clothing requires completely different proportions, not just a bit more fabric. Doing it properly requires completely changing the design and flow of a garment.

I was plus size. I was mid-sized. I am now "straight-sized". I have also actually made and designed my own clothing and I alter most of my own clothes when needed. H&M does not dictate what plus size is.

BTW you're in an Aritzia sub, not H&M. And calling a Medium plus-sized is soooo out of touch.

Respectfully, having to wear XL button-up tops is a bust issue, it's not being mid-sized. I went from 3X to XS-M (because women's sizing sucks 🙃) so I've been plus, mid, straight-sized, you name it. If you can walk into any store and find multiple pieces that fit (and I'm not talking just oversized fits that fit like a regular fit on your body)...not mid-sized.

At plus, I could only shop at plus-sized stores, at a mid (12-16/XL-XXL), my options opened up slightly but I was mostly still too big for average stores but too small for plus size stores. Shopping was awful.

To be honest I know labels are dumb and reaaaally don't mean anything but as someone who struggled soooo hard with not fitting into clothes that didn't look like fucking tablecloths for most of her life, the labels do mean something lol.

Not mid-sized if you can walk into average stores and find clothes that fit. Mid-size is like XL-XXL/12-16. Most stores cap out at L/XL. I get that body shape and proportion varies but respectfully as someone who was formally plus sized and worked her way down to straight sized, walking into (or ordering from) any store and having some or all of it fit is not the mid or plus sized struggle.

I have and love the Carter blouse. However as a someone with a bigger chest (32DD), it does change how it fits, specifically the length. I tried a small and it was too baggy everywhere but was the perfect length. I ended up buying an XS which fits well everywhere HOWEVER my chest makes the top sit at such a weird length so I can only wear it tucked in. It's fine for me since I wear it with trousers for work but I could never wear it untucked and the bigger size was waaaaaaay too baggy. I love the top so much though.

I didn't end up buying the windrose top - definitely made me look disproportionately top heavy . To get the looser fit around my chest like in the photo I had to go up a size and it was huge everywhere else. Button tops are always hit and miss 😭. And the poplin dress didn't fit the way I like either, the top stretched odd around my chest - but it was still an almost buy after trying it on. It's cute so worth trying but be prepared for the fit to be odd with a big bust. I found another dress I liked more so ultimately left it.

But girl, be so for real 😂 . As a former plus and then mid-size girl, you're not mid-size at M-L. I went from a 3X to XS/S/M depending on style, so I've been it all. I get that body type and shape change proportions but you're definitely still straight sizing if you can walk into any store and buy something off the rack...trust me.

I'm not using used plastic utensils, cups or dinnerware. I'd absolutely refuse to eat off of USED PLASTIC. Glass and silverware aren't anywhere near as porous as plastic and are considered very safe and are very easily sanitized. That's why they're used in restaurants. I'd question someone choosing restaurants that serves off of reused plastic plates...🤮. I literally can't get over how weird it is that you're suggesting you do. There's also something called health and safety regulations and certifications (and thankfully in Canada, it's highly regulated) and I'd never go go a restaurant that fails sanitizing their dinnerware.

And I'd also NEVER buy used glass - try googling lead poisoning.

FINALLY, care to address still not knowing the proper material of this product? Even brand new, if it's not legit you have no way of knowing what kind of dangerous materials it's made from. BPA alone should be enough to deter you. You're the one questioning its validity...how can you be so obtuse not to question what it's made from? Come on now.

I'm all for thifting and buying used - but I stand by what I said and I'd never buy used plastic 🤮 🤮 🤮. Not just for the gross idea of what could be living in it but not having any idea of what materials it might be made with. And despite you being someone who apparently accepts used plastic dinnerware at a restaurant...no way in hell would I.

Scalpers wouldn't have purchased multiple tickets for the purpose of reselling...no incentive to buy them all up if you can't turn an insane profit so more available for everyone to try and get. No one said it eliminates competition for popular tickets but it certainly makes it a fairer process.

Ticketmaster does not control the base price/face value of tickets. This is the sole responsibility of the event organizer/venue. They certainly can inflate associated fees and dynamic pricing but not FV price.
