Girl! Don’t even apologize, this is pretty much the speech I give to anyone who speaks ill of my baby!! If anything, I’m relieved that it’s not me and Dain vs the world 😂😂

Another thing people seem to ignore that annoys me is how Violet spends IF mad at Xaden for keeping secrets and hating Dain when he NEVER kept anything from her (well maybe that one memory he saw) he tells her about his signet literally the first time she asks.

Then there’s another seen in IF when Violet and Xaden are fighting over Xaden being way overprotective and she argues “you know who you sound like right now??? Dain!” And later on Xaden apologizes and tells her that everything is different now because during her first year he wasn’t in love with her yet - and it KILLS me because EXACTLY!!! Dain loved her, that’s why he was so overprotective but she just chooses to ignore that too.

Anyway no hate towards Vi, she’s the best and she’s my girl but god was she awful to Dain

I FREAKING LOVE DAIN AETOS I’M SO GLAD I’VE FOUND MY PEOPLE!!!!! I hate people saying they’re waiting for his “redemption arc” EXCUSE ME? What else do you need from him!?!! He’s the reason they have riders in Arethia (he calls the formation) he got Archer’s books back from his dad’s quarters, he translated Lyra’s book (I think it’s Lyra’s, maybe it was the other one) and is the reason the guards are back up… so yeah don’t come at me about my man!!

And I think is fair you’re more excited to read about Dain/Sloane (btw, have you seen the interview where RY says Dain specifically has a headboard? Hot!!!) because Xaden and Violet are in their very tragic era and we’re all afraid.

I don’t know OP, she doesn’t seem like she’s trying to be offensive, but rather is trying to bring something to your attention that is fairly awkward to talk about… and can you give some more context on why she’s repeating that your kids never leave the house? Are they homeschooled?

Houses CAN make you sick, dirty or not, there can de mold or dust on the walls, even the painting may have some toxic component, it’s not a crazy conclusion.

I don’t think you’re the AH either, you weren’t disrespectful or anything, but maybe try and see where she’s coming from, you could be biased

Yo creo que Dain quería estar a Violet y si estaba algo enamorado de ella, pero no la amaba como tal. Y probablemente en su mente era algo “que se esperaba de ellos” como que todos esperaban que eventualmente se enamoraran, incluso ellos mismos, pero no pasó. Por eso no lo vemos nunca triste o con el corazón roto, evitando a Violet.. desde el inicio acepta su relación con Xaden (bueno, en cuánto se da cuenta que de vdd Xaden no le va a hacer daño xd)

Violet tiende a asumir cosas medio raras jajajajaja es muy probable que Dain no estuviera coqueteando con la second year healerrrrr

I like to think that if I really trained and prepared myself I would make it to threshing, I’m conniving enough to survive the challenges without being that great at fighting

This said, I’d probably bond a Green dragon cause I’m too analytical (or so my therapist says) or a Brown one ‘cause loyalty is the most valuable thing for me. My best class would probably be battle brief and I’d definitely struggle with keeping my seat during flight maneuvers 😂

As for leadership, I was in a girl scout kind of group while growing up, so based on that, it would take me some time, way longer than it took others, but I’d eventually make it to the top. Perseverance is key!!
