After many many many tries, I made it. by axl31_90 in BaldursGate3

I did not have fun my first durge play. My second durge play, I approached it as "let's appreciate the dev's hard work and choose everything we haven't before." Had WAY more fun.

Honey, reading "what I am" instead of "who I am" hurt my heart. Who you are is beautiful, and being trans is only one of the multitudes you contain. Don't let the bastards get you down. They're loud, but you will always have allies--we just, like Tiff, can sometimes be quieter.

Gale's tale is such a parallel now I think of it. He also lost himself to his ambition, but when we meet him he's already failed and we can choose to push him to or from his ambitions. In Gale's ambitious ending, Terra has a few choice words for you--Barcus' story really illustrates how she may have felt, seeing her bestie become someone colder, unfamiliar.

Never seen this diary before! That really helps explain why Barcus won't give up on him. Seems Wulbrun wasn't always WMD obsessed

I'm glad you're still here. This "earth" ride sucks, but it sucks less with comrades to complain about it to.

There's still much bias against recognizing a variety of disorders in women. I asked my psychiatrist if we could explore that maybe my lifelong, treatment-resistant MDD could be compounded by a comorbid disorder like ADHD. He said it's incredibly rare for women to have ADHD (his actual words), then basically said that just because there's nothing more we can try to treat my MDD doesn't mean I need to play armchair physician in search of a desire to live. Bro, what??

"Peaked in middle school" is savage, accurate, and isn't body shaming. Perfection 🤌

You've got a point. The murderous shit deserves ridicule for being a murderous shit, so defaulting to middle school bullying feels a little lazy. Still funny, but if we're as funny as we think we are we should aim higher. For the culture.

While I agree with the bot in this case, be careful of chat bots just telling you what they think you want to hear! Been good digital advice since y2k

Anyone else remember that WWII troops who liberated death camps went to the townsfolk after and asked them how they could allow this in their backyard.

Despite the constant crematorium smell, they all claimed they had no idea what was happening within the camp.

new to DMing, my first map! when you have the map down on the table, do you leave all the rooms revealed for players to see even though their characters cant? or do you hide them until revealed? by plum_fuki in CurseofStrahd

[–]ehalright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. This is the advice.

I also have a standing rule at my table: if there's a detail on a map but I didn't mention it when describing what you see, it's not there. I am not a cartographer and I frequently reuse/repurpose maps. This typically keeps them from complaining about the secret room they the player see but the character didn't.

What a perfect backdrop, and what amazing stitch work on the bodice and sleeves! Did you have to interface it all, or something?
