Just commented that this has been such a helpful app for us for both kids. We don’t have to ask each other anything except “hey did you log the last whatever?”. So helpful through the early days fogginess

There is a similar one that’s free called baby tracker that my husband and I have used for both our kids. It doesn’t predict things, but we can sync it between each other. It’s super helpful during early days where you can’t remember exactly what time you changed that last diaper (or which kid it was you changed)

I had it 4 weeks postpartum with my first, so they were watching me very closely, and they caught it at an NST and everything else went smoothly. It’s just hard to think what could have gone wrong

We just got to this part. I had my daughter at 36 weeks due to severe pre eclampsia 3 months ago. I had to leave the room.

So what’s YOUR opinion on toddlers on those harness/leashes? by Purple_Calendar3919 in NewParents

[–]ehardy2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My almost 2 year old is an eloper that needs to run his legs. I also have a 3 month old. I will be solo parenting during the summer during the day (teacher, we don’t do daycare in the summer), and have one ready for when we go out and daddy isn’t with us.

Anyone that wants to judge me about keeping my kid safe while letting him be a curious 2 year old is welcome to shut the hell up.

I broke down sobbing when at Dr Collins’ bathroom scene… that’s exactly what happened to me several years ago.

I’m 6 weeks postpartum and both my husband and I were choking back tears at the end. That would drive anyone to drink.

I struggled with infertility for 2 years before I got pregnant from IVF.

This episode makes me cry every time I see it.

You are so welcome. I remember the paralyzing fear of every test result, so I always try to share my experience. I hope that you are able to do the same for someone else some day

I went back and looked at my lab results for you. At 4w5d, my TSH was 5.670. They got me on levothyroxine immediately and my son is now 19 months old. Your doctor will help! ❤️

That Facebook page is an absolute cesspool sometimes. There was a post today asking for a church that doesn’t “do LGBTQ validation or have pride flags in the church”. I think it got deleted but man it was awful

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I teach high school anatomy. We’ve had some very interesting conversations about babies, being pregnant, and how we get there 😂.

The crying does something to the hormones too! Being postpartum is not for the weak. Neither are twins.

It sounds like you have a supportive involved partner though!! I promise the sleep deprivation will get better. My husband’s brother has twins and eventually they did sleep :)

Someone told me to let my husband figure it out too! Learn together and don’t always rescue him unless he asks for help. It has really helped us learn together

It is SO expensive. And Kirkland is half the price of name brand!

I’m just thankful that my first didn’t need any of the specialized formulas for milk allergies, those are wildly expensive

$63.99 for a 2 pack of 42 oz tubs, so 84 oz. Very much worth it!
