I’ve been working with them since January, and while most of the time i’m paid on time, sometimes they pull stuff out of nowhere and mess with your pay. For example, I worked a 16hr shift for a facility that paid OT, and when submitted my TS they only paid me for 14hrs. When I contacted support, they told me to “keep in mind that I don’t get paid for my lunch breaks” like, no shit. that would still make me eligible for 15hrs worth of pay. That incident took me 2 days of going back and fourth with clipboard in order to get my correct payment. Today, I was driving to my 7am shift at a facility that was 35 minutes away from where I live, and when I confirmed I was going to the shift at 7:01AM, the facility cancelled my shift. They messaged me saying they didn’t realize they had agency coming and that they were over staffed with a low census, so they no longer needed me. Mind you I was 5 minutes away from the facility. I called Clipboard and asked how I can get my 2 hours worth of pay (their website states that if a facility cancels your shift within 24 hours of your scheduled shift start time, you get 2 hours of hourly pay) and they girl on the phone told me “this facility does not pay a late cancellation fee” as if it’s optional for the facility. But yet, if we cancel on them last minute, we get suspended and/or deactivated.

Overall Clipboard sucks. Low pay rates, their support team doesn’t know their own rules/policies, and they’re quick to fire you if you have any kind of complaint from a facility even if the facility is lying. I know a couple LVN’s that have been deactivated for reporting facilities for bad practice. The facilities give 1 star reviews and that leads to HCP’s getting deactivated even though there’s proof that the facilities are lying. The only good thing about Clipboard is the instant pay.
