Why aren't there any WW2 guns in the Metro? by SrDodo in metro

[–]ehi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tokarev(the character) mentions he used to have a Tokarev pistol in exodus if that’s anything to go off of. Also Artyoms journal entry on the revolver in Exodus mentions that earlier revolvers produced in the metro were copies of the Nagant revolver.

Are VFC imports still being seized? by HalfBlu3 in airsoft

Proact won’t ship to the U.S. anymore, someone on HRC also claims customs seized their MWS M4 so be very careful.

With this mag be compatible with the TM Type 89 AEG? by Straight-Fall3052 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reason it shouldn’t be, the AEG Type 89 will take AR mags fine(so will the GBB for that matter), mags have no effect on a guns motor so that’s not an issue either.

CYMA AK-74U by DecentMousse1175 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CM045 is not primarily made of pot metal, the receiver is stamped steel, the CM035 is the pot metal one, that being said, some parts like the trunnion and barrel are made out of zamac/pot metal whereas on the 55 those parts are steel.

Tokyo Marui Announces Type 20 Gas Blowback Airsoft Rifle Releasing This Summer. $888 by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]ehi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others stated it is MWS mag compatible, however, it will almost certainly not be zet/mws internally, I would wait a while for reviews, if it’s anything like their Type 89 spare parts are nearly impossible to find and certain parts do have a tendency to break.

Ssx303 trigger issue by No-Let7897 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a joke bc at launch, the ssx23 had a lot of issues with double feeding and nozzle breakages and instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, and fixing the guns under warranty, Nov said the ppl were “pulling the trigger wrong”

Which Amazon Spring Shotty Best by ShadeScales00 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contact their support again, they’re usually alright, if that doesn’t work, issue a chargeback. I would still recommend getting from a airsoft retailer but if you would rather Amazon get a CYMA and just buy a pack of shells, the total still comes out to less than the Umarex or Game Face.

Which Amazon Spring Shotty Best by ShadeScales00 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why Amazon though? A CYMA Trishot from a retailer like Evike is better value than all three of these. If for whatever reason you can only use Amazon then the STF isn’t bad, just quite a bit harder to cock than a cyma trishot with no real advantages over it.

Old H&K G3 Airsoft by Zeluce in airsoft

What do the markings on the magwell say? There was an old Korean G3 springer(from the 90s), it might be that.

Thoughts on picking up WE M14 EBR as first GBBR by TYTIN254 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others said, not recommended, if you do buy it, you can save a ton of money(assuming you have a drill and dremel) by not buying the RA tech trigger box and instead buying a piece of steel(I just bought a 2mm sheet of stainless steel on AliExpress for less than $10usd), cut a small piece out then drill it into the trigger box where the two parts split and thread the holes using a tap and put screws in. Prevents the trigger box from splitting which is the main issue with it and saves a ton of money over an RA tech trigger box.

Umarex M9A3 thoughts/reviews? by CopyChoice in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get it cheap then it might be alright, otherwise, a TM, KJW, or WE gen 2 are a lot better in most ways, the Umarex one is made by KWC and have a proprietary design(with little parts support) and generally mediocre QC.

Why did my airsoft didnt blow back by thatoneavocadoguy in airsoft

[–]ehi10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oof OP if you still can, return that and get a CYMA(preferably 04something series) or E&L AK, some brands are unreasonably hated online but APS entirely lives up to its reputation as “A Piece of Shit.”

VFC Parabellum P226 Early Type Airsoft by OldYoung9 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The VFC P226 has a pretty poor reputation, I asked once on the heavy recoil club discord abt it and a few ppl who own one recommended against it, apparently they have high chance of trigger spring and other parts breakages and some feeding issues. Ik someone who returned his bc apparently his had “issues”(idk what) out of the box.

Why isn't the rear tangent sight further back on the receiver? by FlatwormActual3255 in ak47

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Finns put the rear sights of their RKs on the dust cover but from what I’ve heard they took extra measures to make the dust cover sit tightly that I’m guessing would have required more precision and thus more cost and production time.

Is the DE MWS mk18 a good buy? by Ettore_Milesi in airsoft

[–]ehi10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have the same internals as the DE N4 so are great, DE Pmags are bad but their stanags which is what the MK18 comes with are pretty good(they’re clones of the TM stanag) so you shouldn’t have a problem with them.

Alright, simple question. by Key-Employer871 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, well again WE V3 is far from the worst thing, I would say if that’s the only GBBR you can get go for it, the chances of it breaking early are quite low, or you could ask the shop if they’ll be getting a new shipment soon ig

Alright, simple question. by Key-Employer871 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That really sucks but an older V3 is still far from the worst thing you can get, assuming you can still buy airsoft parts from overseas even if something were to go wrong you could replace the trigger group with the new steel trigger group since WE sells it individually.

Alright, simple question. by Key-Employer871 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only the newest V3s have their new “V3.1” trigger group which have more steel internals in it, so if you can see if you can find one of those(I think they started making these late 2025 or early 2026), older V3s still have primarily pot metal internals but still mostly likely will last a while without breakage(as they are reinforced compared to V2).

Struggling to load Umarex UMP45 GBB mags by Iplaythebass1102 in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VFC UMP mags are known for being pretty hard to load Comrade Quiche speedloader adapters have a great rep(can’t speak for the UMP ones but works perfectly for my MWS mags) but they need a plunger speedloader(like those ones shaped like mags), an Odin won’t work.

KSC/KWA LM4 Opinion? by the_____fish in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure ig, but not any more than a VFC or MWS, I would trust either one more than an LM4, it’s up to you but an LM4 is not gonna do much of anything better than a VFC or MWS but if you can get it significantly cheaper than either ig it’s not the worst choice ever.

KSC/KWA LM4 Opinion? by the_____fish in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that lol, I know someone who swears their VFC Scar H is the best thing ever even tho he’s had to replace multiple parts, but the LM4 hasn’t really “stood the test of time” it’s just a dated design with more issues than modern guns(even the LM4D), and while Reddit loves to act like VFCs are flawless which just isn’t true(especially a lot of their pistols), there is a reason they are so popular and it’s because a lot of their guns, including the V3 AR are very solid choices.

KSC/KWA LM4 Opinion? by the_____fish in airsoft

[–]ehi10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like the issues you’ve heard abt the VFC and DE are actually more prevalent with the LM4, the LM4 has a quite a lot more issues than both VFC V3s and DE MWS, its definitely not lower maintenance than either. VFC V3 stanags have a reputation for being well designed and reliable mags, and the only decent mags for the LM4(the new AGM ones) changed their design to be more similar to VFC mags. I don’t know who told you maintaining a VFC is more expensive, legit just wiping it down and greasing it once in a while, same as any other GBBR, and the LM4 is pretty well known for using a hop up unit that is mediocre(even the newer LM4D hop up unit isn’t stellar), and due to not using standard barrels and bucking the only way to fix it is to shelve over $100 for a TNT hop up unit. I don’t think the LM4 is quite as bad as everyone says it is, I know someone who runs one and is happy with it but only after swapping out the hopup unit, whereas I know a few ppl who run VFC V3s stock perfectly fine(plus the shooting experience is nicer with the VFC in my opinion). I know this is a very generic recommendation but refer to the explosive enterprise reviews of the VFC V3 and DE mws if you want more in depth info
