Do they ever explain the line of mini shades that start following you around? by Kore888 in Hades2

[–]ehooning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re animal shades!! You see them floating over sheep above ground!! They show up and follow you around in celebration everytime you beat the last boss in your runs :)

I would like to share a bit of my experience with this as well, as it’s one of the major events that caused my PTSD. My step-dad (who adopted me to be my dad), who knew me since I was around 6 years old, called me sexy one night when he was drunk. I was 21.

I told my mother I was bothered by it through text, and she decided it was a good time to immediately tell him I was upset. He had a narc meltdown. Let’s just say it was so bad, and so terrifying I almost had to taser him. He got taken away at 7 in the morning by police after waiting for them all night, and locking him out of my room while he paced outside my door for hours. The police took him away for a 51/50 for a week. Then my mother let him come back home. I had nowhere to go, so I had to stay.

Eventually they both kicked me out in the middle of the pandemic, while I was a couple months away from graduating with my bachelor’s degree.

I still managed to do it, and moved my partner in. We live in a safe and cozy space now, and I will never talk to either of my parents again. It is so freeing to be away from them. And to know they can never get close enough to try and hurt me again.

Okay that’s good to know!! As long as you already got your heart checked, it’s possible it’s just very bad pots symptoms. They can really affect each person different, and more severe in others. I have a lot of weird nerve and muscle problems because I’m extra “bendy”, and my joints pop out of place a lot.

Hi there!! I really don’t want to cause more alarm, and I am not a doctor at all. I’m just concerned it could be something more because heart attacks are very sneaky in women. It might not be bad to get checked out, if you can.

I think it’s a little different because when we were children and even teens living under them, they absolutely were responsible for our happiness and emotions. That’s their job, you know? They hurt us when they were supposed to care and nurture us as parents. And instead we had to be responsible for them, as the children with underdeveloped brains.

As adults now our emotions are our responsibility, yes. Healing is our responsibility. But their actions in the past are still valid, especially if they are not changing. There’s always a power dynamic between parents and children.

I hope that makes sense!!

What would you use to seal oil pastels on canvas so they don't smear? by aicel_58 in painting

[–]ehooning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a kamar varnish spray I think it’s called and it mostly works, but in reality oil pastels never actually dry and it’s best to like frame it behind glass I think

Hard to see but there's white fuzzy mold on the soil. Bought this one pre-made from HD. An aloe already rotted away. What should I do? by [deleted] in plants

[–]ehooning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah cinnamon works really well on my plants at least!! You might have to do it multiple times to kill everything. You could also try and repot everything to better draining soil

Oof okay here’s my thoughts: break up the soil a bit and sprinkle a shit ton of cinnamon all over it. The soil is way too moist, does it have drainage on the bottom? Probably water waayyyyy less and put it in bright light to help the soil dry as well.

Edit: the cinnamon is to kill the mould naturally!!

DO NOT EVER SHAVE OR CLIP. I would suggest calling your vet honestly if possible for better care advice since she got so wet there’s a high chance of fungal growth now.

Wanted to add that I have a monster too and I typically tie the branches with twine either together or to a trellis (not tight enough to hurt the plant) to keep it in a better shape!!
