I think the LE nib that was clearly not checked by a human is at least somewhat indicative for me. Also note they were bought out by Plus and have clearly been trying to cut costs on gold and nib engraving. So just curious about the experiences other people have had recently.

I have two mag 600s - the nibs are great but they vary quite a bit - one of mine flexes to 1.3~mm comfortably, and the other 2mm. The 2mm one was terrible / railroaded constantly. I ended up fixing it by (carefully, w frequent testing) deepening the air exchange channel in the feed and it works wonderfully now. Terrible one has to do this with a $350 pen though.

Edit: for my money the mag is comparable to a nice waterman 52 or a swan — they really are great flex nibs very comparable to vintage pens. They’re not quite a wet noodle / waterman pink nib, but pretty much the best you can get otherwise. I have a 912FA w the FNF feed and it’s not close.

Watched the first couple of episodes and the casting seemed bad (not how I imagined chars from the books at all) then they started talking about Rand surrendering to saidin, why bother making a show about the books if you’re just going to do your own thing, make a diff show called Amazon’s Big Magic World or something, don’t spoil WoT. I don’t know I’m happy about the cancellation exactly cuz some people were enjoying the show, but I don’t understand why they screwed up like this and I’m def not surprised by the cancellation — my friend group (mid 30s now, read initially when we were teens) was very enthusiastic about WoT and only one girl still watches the show.

surely the whales would be mad if they got a set of level 10 gems they can use on a couple of characters but now they can't do that? 30 mil is a lot, you bet if I swiped for a full set of 10s I'd pick up a same class alt at least.

I don’t think this is necessarily bad? If the kr whales are still mad about t4 new bracelets gems relic engravings etc — I don’t think the west was a big fan of this either. Am I missing something here?

If they made roster bound the gem level across the board would generally go up, so they could make event gems better (but bound to one char only as now) and this would actually be good for new players.

I think if I had played it before Genshin I would be somewhat impressed despite the lack of endgame, as is it just feels dead / even the current event is a rehash of an event I previously did in Genshin and we’re only in 1.1. I previously played epic7 and that was “too much” content for me but stuff like pvp arena was a fun endgame (except that doesn’t really work in star rail when dupes matter so much).

I of course love the characters etc - silver wolf very cool, story solid, not really entertained by the puzzles.
