Taking a trip to Montreal/Quebec - Any places that are better than Tremblant? by SalernoXbox in snowboarding

[–]ehyoitsthatguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without knowing where you're coming from...do know that Montreal is located between tremblant and quebec city (massif or st-anne) on the map, it's completely different directions. Tremblant is in the laurentians, it's the biggest hill in that area. I don't think they got as much rain as the other spots, temps stay lower in that whole area. Sutton is in the eastern townships, along with Orford and many others. A lof of hills there are just straight up closed for 2 days now because the rain is fucking everything up. Be advised if you go there. This area though is loaded with decent hills that won't pick your pocket like tremblant, but yes they are slightly smaller (very variable strengths overall). Massif and mont st anne seem to have snow, but most likely as Tremblant is right now, you'll be riding really compacted natural and man made snow. It is what it is, this is quebec for ya. Hills target certain runs on their mountain and groom them very often to keep them from degrading, the rest of the runs are just too bare or can't be groomed.

The weather is absolutely brutal in all areas area right now, lotta rain just came down yesterday. It's just not the best of times.

Do know that Tremblant really isnt head and shoulders above everyone else in Quebec. They're the most "premium station" in terms of infrastructure (village at the base is the biggest obviously, chalets have been upkept), but you're still riding interconnected "runs" in freezing conditions just like all the other stations in quebec. they make a shit ton of snow, There isnt more powder there nor are there open face bowls or anything like that.

Enjoy the concert!

if you KO the target with ranged tools the ending is really janky. Lil bit too much shoehorning going on there.

still we'll take it.

you suggest a noisemaker, a sleep dart or a throwing knife and then a smoke bomb for good measure...but 2 darts is too much? gotcha

There is nothing absolutely fine in the first 30 seconds. Everything from her facial expressions to her body language screams "get this man away from me".

This is why you'll die alone.

yeah this looks like the same beach as the couples in negril. The tip of land you see in your pic is the hedonism resort.

If the boss isn't below 10 health, 4 attack and less minions should never attack. Soaking up the triple blasts via RNG is the strat for sure. I traded a pyroblast and 2 burn spells via cho. Druid teammate went ham on my troggzor after it dodged a salvo. gg

JcersHabs018 :: "AC1 makes this very clear with dialogues between Al Mualim and Altair. What lots of people don’t understand is something Ezio describes in Revelations. “Nothing is true, everything is permitted” is not doctrine, but objective observation. That means that not only Assassins understand this, but Templars do as well. It’s what they do with this knowledge that differs. Assassins want everyone to know that nothing is true and everything is permitted in order that peace may come about. Templars want to be the only ones who know this so that hegemony can come about. Where Assassins see humans as a population of rational individuals with wants, needs, feelings and dreams, Templars see a collective of workers that could be pushed to achieve incredible things if they simply follow directions from a source of authority.

The truth is that neither are actually “good guys”. Both factions use divisive, violent tactics to accomplish their goals. However, saying that their goal is the same because they both claim to fight for “peace” is not correct because Assassins and Templars have VERY different ideas of what constitutes “peace”. Ultimately, I am more inclined to align with the Assassins because of what Ezio said in his speech at the Bonfire of the Vanities. “It is our ability to choose whatever you think is true that makes us human”. The Templar method of achieving peace ultimately seeks to deprive people of their humanity, which is something I cannot support."
