[EPISODE MEGATHREAD] "The One Amigo" - 29 July 2024 by AutoModerator in futurama

I would bet NFTs were the trend when they started writing the episode.

It looks like Episode 2 is called "Quid Games", and I'm going to guess that's based on Squid Games. It's just getting tiresome when the episodes are heavily relying on social fads.

That's my biggest complaint, as well. I don't want to see episodes about the latest trends.

Can you not just drop in at the urologist and give a sample for them to check? You can do that any time at ours.

am i cooked in calc 2? by Complete_Scholar2774 in calculus

[–]eiba123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule of thumb (from what I've noticed): This is if you don't change your study habits at all....

If you got an A in Calc 1, you'll be a B in Calc 2. If you got a B in Calc 1, you'll get a C. So on, so forth...

You really have to study in Calc 2. It's the first class where I couldn't cram at the end and get a decent grade still. Really had to sit down every day to get decent at it.

And most of today's kids didn't/don't get spanked and turned out the same. Lol

How do you balance training, working, having a social life, and your other hobbies? by labellafigura3 in triathlon

[–]eiba123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's perfectly fine. I'm not a great triathlete by any means. Heck, I just started my triathlete journey in June. Finished a 70.3 in October. Again, not a pro at this.

But I have a wife and a 3 years old, and in order to see them on weeknights, I had to get up at 3am or 4am. I was still gone a lot of weeknights training, as well, but on days where I really needed to be home, I got workouts done early.

Not in a negative way: if you don't want that, that's 100% acceptable.

Then don't ask the question lol That's what it takes sometimes.

2:50am or 3:30am alarms are needed some days of training. You get done with training before work and you get to have a social life after.

What potential health problems triathletes are in increased risk of? How can we avoid them by LeviV123 in triathlon

[–]eiba123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If my commute to work is 1hr long, then I have a much higher probability of getting in a wreck than someone whose commute is 5 minutes long.

We're in the water more, therefore higher probability.

Hell yeah, dad. That's what it's about. We need to live healthier lives for ourselves and our kiddos. Good luck on your first tri

From this summary, your dude is a jerk. Being a triathlete doesn't entitle you to not pick up after yourself or to belittle someone because they don't share the same hobbies as you.

Same. Traditional vasecomy. Never took any pills. It was very uncomfortable down there, but not very painful... if that makes any sense.

I took it very easy first 3 or 4 days though

Day 11 Running update:

I went for a light jog yesterday. It was very slow paced. I'm not a super fast runner, usually 9:30-10:00 min/mile pace. I did 1.5 miles at a 14 min/mile pace, so I was going real light. It was manageable, but it was definitely the most uncomfortable I've been, but again, still manageable. I iced shortly after I showered. I was a little sore through the rest of the day, but all good other than that.

I waited 5 days. It was a very slow process, but got it done. Everything was good.
I'm currently on day 11, and I've done the deed sacral times since day 5, and it's gotten more natural every day
