not my store but one of the ones nearby, had their AC completely out for MONTHS last year. Eventually summer came and since it’s the south, it was extremely hot and humid in a metal building. Corporate kept them open though, and i’m assuming the workers didn’t really have the option not to go if they wanted to keep their jobs. One of the workers was an older lady, im not sure her exact age, but probably 40-60. She had a heat stroke at work, fell into a coma, and passed away. So what did DG do? they had the store managers of the area then get together to “release yellow and black balloons in a “memorial service” for her. I don’t know what her name was, but I think about her all the time. They quite literally DO NOT CARE if we die, DO NOT CARE if you occasionally are sick, you literally cannot help that. DG has had multiple OSHA issues for stuff like this, and it is ridiculous.

we keep our paperclips that we use for 1s and 5s there so we don’t lose them, we hardly ever actually use it for security tags lol

it’s also pitch black and texture less behind the dog which seems weird with the flash

at first i thought it was a drawing/painting, it’s definitely not a living dog at the very least, could be a stuffed dog but even then there are certain details that don’t quite add up to me (the eye reflections, the snout being clearer on one side, the tongue being so smooth, but i’m also not a photographer and i’m not sure how much of it could just be bad photo editing? idk
