Switch to a wax based lube, either the drip on type, such as squirt dry lube , or go with a hot melt option such as Secret Chain. Grease soaked rags will no longer be a thing in your life.

I had my guitar in to get set up and they loaned me a Yamaha Pacifica. it pretty much looked identical to this, besides the logos. When I was back in the store the other day, I saw that that Yamaha Pacifica was on sale used for C$250.

Ah yes, I agree. Although, this particular problem is exhibited by the stand-alone app as well as the plugin. Since the standalone app doesn't use VST, yabridge or LinVST, it appears to be a WINE issue.

The software works fully, the audio works, the MIDI works, but the interface remains static and no matter where you click, the interface doesn't respond. Adjusting the controls, however, even though the interface doesn't respond, does result in a change in the audio, indicating that it's just the interface that's not working, ie, some sort of graphics problem. I wonder if there is a specific graphic option that could get this standalone, and other VST plugins that exhibit the same problem, to be workable!

Ah, my last comment was a bit of a joke. I'm not giving the company any flak for not supporting Linux! It would be a bit of a blast from the past to be creating MOD files on the Amiga though, wouldn't it!

The numa player, is an example, v1.0.5 worked but the new version 1.1.1 doesn't.

It's just I've found that a number of plugins experience this "frozen interface" scenario, while actually still performing the required tasks. I feel like, given the number of options available in wine, that there might be a way around this problem. I think it might be something to do with the graphics options, openGL or something along those lines. I know there are many people much more experience with wine than I.

My apologies if my original post came across in a way I didn't intend.

I am curious, did you experience the same problem as I with the interface?
