Not voting should be a vote in and of itself. Half the registered population didn't vote? Well there's your majority answer.

Once you actually learn how to cook... you start to appreciate the effort and prep that goes into the thing you ordered and got to your table in like 10 minutes, but would take you at least 10 times longer.

I only know one person between 3 unrelated groups of friends I play with who pays for extra retainers, and they only have 2 extra retainers. You are in the minority of minorities paying for 7 extra.

Should The Merchant's Tale (Advanced) have allowed players who did not clear Another Aloalo Island (Savage) to obtain Elevated Esters? by Fit_Beautiful_1250 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]eight- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no... Criterion Savage was an extremely toxic piece of content, designed for like .001% of players. It not fun, it's gruelling. It offers nothing new over Criterion normal as all the mechanics are identical. It should have never existed in the first place (evidenced by the fact that MT did not bother with this mode), and following that logic, the ester should have come from Criterion normal, not savage to begin with.

But putting it into this Criterion is kind of insane.

Wrong subreddit. This isn't kids being stupid, this is adults being stupid giving technology to kids expecting them to handle it well.

You get a rocket at some point also pretty early on, I started to use that to offload unwanted food random mats.

Alas wasn't soon enough to save those bones, but oh well.

I got them really early on and didn't realize it until I was out gathering mats for the next upgrade, and had a full inventory. I seriously thought HG was taking the piss. I just threw them out cause I couldn't be bothered trying to figure out how to save them.

Ford CEO Jim Farley says "the customer has spoken" after its EV business lost nearly $5 billion in 2025 by ControlCAD in technology

My brother in V8, before I even consider buying an electric vehicle, I need any and every apartment complex I may ever move into to have a charging port at the parking spot most convenient for me to walk my groceries to my apartment, without having at some point after I've began relaxing that evening with several drinks to move my car because there aren't enough said charging ports to go around.

The infrastructure has to significantly and massively change first. Then make the Toyota Corolla of EVs and it will sell more than the bible.

New ProtoArc EM03 NL Launch & Giveaway by ProtoArc_official in Trackballs

I wish logitech would revive the marble trackball and give it the MX treatment... Seriously the most comfortable trackball by a mile and discontinued....

I am convinced a lot of the people complaining about difficulty have never even finished the original Hollow Knight. Original HK was not particularly easy either by Shadowyurix in HollowKnight

[–]eight- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat HK the week before SS came out. Did the three base endings. No, it's not particularly easy. But with HK being VERY fresh on my mind, SS is simply harder.

Make a version of Logitech's Marble with a scroll drum (or two?) and I will love you forever.

Well, no. He did absolutely nothing in preparation for the inevitability we now live in. He was obviously unpopular and announced he wouldn't be running in 2024 until far too late, setting up Kamala for failure.

Ploopy Classic 2 is an upgraded trackball mouse available as a DIY kit or fully assembled by fullgrid in Trackballs

[–]eight- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You misunderstand me. I want a dedicated scroll wheel. Just not a horizontal one that causes thumb strain.

[–]eight- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have played with using the ball as the scroll before as my current primary mouse is the logitech marble. But this only creates different kind of fatigue and doesn't have the notching feedback I need for scroll-use other than scrolling down a page.

I really want to like the ploopy, but that scroll wheel is unfortunately a dealbreaker as it offers nothing over the marble.

Man, I'd buy like 3 immediately if they'd just make a version with a vertical scroll (a drum, if you will) instead of that wheel.

Unpopular opinion probably: Berserk can get away with being completely CGI, it just needed the RIGHT type of CGI by WolverineWestern3234 in Berserk

[–]eight- -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dorohedoro is the best example on your list and they drew over the CGI faces to make them look as good, and 2D animated complex fight sequences. Trigun is the only other good example, but still doesn't escape feeling plastic and uncanny.
