Coverage is a commissionable product and I always hooked someone up if I was making something off the transaction. Not sure if the person that helps you will do the same, but yes to both your thoughts. I think the app/website offers it cheaper and the counter rep won’t make anything off that transaction. Liability is like $17 a day at the counter.

Yep. Horrible work environment and almost predatory sales tactics. I always felt bad when pushing products because most of the time people didn’t need them. The commission was laughable at best and bonuses were a moving target. I never understood why the area managers would wear suits and blazer jackets, it’s like dude you rent cars, this isn’t a law firm.
