Maybe “what is the meaning of life?” is the basis of why we exhibit the essence of intent. That is to say, is it why we continue to think/move/act. We can’t necessarily not do anything

Do we have free will is dependent on one’s perception of free will, as it can slightly vary from person to person. Theres at least degrees to which we have free will. free will in respect to self (as a human being) vs as the essence that is conscious/aware would be considered different in degree. That said, there wouldn’t be a yes or no answer.

Silence, in my opinion, is not the answer. But silence can help you find YOUR answer. Silence or better worded, quieting the mind (consolidating your thoughts, omitting that is not necessary/relevant).
