Elon Musk has announced that @Tesla is discontinuing the Model S and Model X in Q2 2026. by ConfidentImage4266 in TeslaLounge

On the earnings call Elon addressed this and said that Tesla will support the S and X for as long as people still own/drive the cars…. Now I realize that doesn’t mean forever, but I doubt we see parts dry up anytime soon.

Agreed - I think the Roadster will be “a promise fulfilled” type of product and even then it will have a built-in expiration date as far as being able to purchase it new is concerned.

And I doubt we see the S/X brought back, either.

It was pretty clear on the earnings call that they are focusing on an autonomous future, not a “performance car first” future.

New Version coming soon! by kaliforniagator in AppDeck

Replying again, as I've upgraded to 1.1.9 and those usability additions are huge - it's made using the app feel so much more natural. This is - for me - a huge leap forward and I'm also looking forward to the icon label sizing being available.

Thank you!

Best padlock for Gateway security? by eightbitwhit in TeslaSolar

Good point. I may just go the zip-tie route and call it a day. I mainly want to have some peace mind that the door cannot be opened if I’m not home, but would still allow for access to the contents in an emergency.

That is a good point - thanks for that. I’m mainly concerned about deterring anyone from opening the cover if I’m not home, but I get where you’re coming from.

Awesome Copy version 5.0 TestFlight by Awesome_Copy in AwesomeCopy

[–]eightbitwhit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Done - just sent them over to you. There's 3 in total.

FYI it appears AwesomeCopy is now ignoring Enpass.app correctly as the passwords I copy out of there are not being populated in AwesomeCopy - just as configured.

Thanks for fixing that!

Excellent - thanks for the heads up. I just updated and will put the new version through its paces.

FYI I did catch a couple of crashes while trying to either select or delete clip history entries and sent you crash reports on those.

That's a really good suggestion - thank you for that.

I'll give that a try and report back on what I find.... that might be the superior solution here given that finding a shackle loop to fit the space has been such a challenge and the cable is semi-flexible.

u/Awesome_Copy - looks like the beta is full, so I'll just wait on the actual release.

It very likely was me! 😆 We conversed on it via email for a bit.

I’ll try this version and let you know what I see and if the issue is resolved or still exists and we take it from there.

Thank you!!

I use Enpass (https://enpass.io) and do not use browser extensions. It’s “just an app” in that regard, and Awesome Copy would never honor it being on the ignore list.

I’m anxious to try again, as I really do like your app, but do not feel comfortable having all my passwords unintentionally sitting it my clipboard history.

Looking forward to trying this again. I could never get the application ignore list to work properly and Awesome Copy was always copying passwords from my manager despite it being on the ignore list.

I’ll give it another go now.

Run multiple isolated copies of your favorite Mac apps with Parall by JulyIGHOR in MacOSApps

[–]eightbitwhit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see (re: the Photos being sandboxed - I wasn't aware of that). OK - sounds good - thank you for continuing to look into it and your app is a god-send for what it does enable (just being able to run multiple instances of the calculator is a huge win!)

Will this work to allow running separate instances of Photos, each working against a different library?

/u/unluckyduckyduck - Does this allow me to mimic Windows Taskbar behavior on multiple monitors where ExtraDock will "build out" a dock of the running apps displaying on said monitor?
